I would walk every where on my own n I was only 8. But times must’ve changed. But yr right, it is a small city compared to other cities in the world. And it did feel dirty and old to me. I've lived in Wellington 22 years and never known heard or seen anyone on meth. My family and I never been burgled assaulted. The only two crimes we experienced were my son's car broken into, and may daughter's car, left overnight, being set on fire by kids. I used to live in Auckland and fine Wellington a far nicer town. Although I've noticed an increase in homeless people, and been approached beggars in the streets that never happened 20 years ago. But surely that happens in Auckland?

I currently now live in Wellington and used to live in Christchurch. Wellington is a much better City to live in my opinion
