I’m going to have to say Justin and Max but not because Zhang & Yan are girls. I really dislike how people say women’s mma is boring etc etc, that’s literally hater talk. This could be a rough night for Kayla. Holly's got the TDD & as we've seen, knows how to deal with Judokas. Outside of the age, it's probably the worst matchup they could've gave Kayla. Gots to wonder if there's some 1 fight then pay negotiations going on.

@@brucepedersen4032 I'm more talking about the stylistic matchup than her ability to make weight. Ronda destroyed everyone as soon as she got hold of them. Holly avoided the TD & danced her way out of dodge & that side of her game has only got better. That's not something that will diminish with age either. Kayla's strong though so we'll see but I think pretty much anyone else would've been an easier matchup for her.
Holly didn’t have great TDD back when she fought Ronda (Ronda had decided to try outboxing her for the most part), but she absolutely has great TDD now. Kayla is a far better striker now than Ronda was, though, so this should be far more competitive.
As for the matchup being bad “on purpose” for Kayla, I dunno about that. Has the UFC EVER made a single-fight contract? I haven’t heard of it. What fighter would accept that?
@nomdeploom5707 Sure, I think so too. Holly has a team-think tank who know fighting. Can she keep space or fight off Kayla? OR is Kayla quick enough for TD and ride time. Looking forward to it 😀 😊 👍 😄
I honestly don’t understand all the hate for the Women fighters, they work just as hard as the men do and I enjoy watching them progress just like I enjoying the men progress. For me the best about MMA is watching any fighter compete, maybe take a loss and then watching that same fighter next time and see how much improvement they made. Let’s face it some of the losses came by poor judging. I’ll just go ahead and say it, I thought Maycee Barber has lost 2 out of her last 3 fights.
