Arizona did same wiping out coyotes. The state was overrun with rodents. Had to import coyotes. Stupid is as stupid does.
I believe they want to do this to help destroy the food supply, during a rodent heavy year.
Way to go America. Human intervention is not the answer. In thirty years you wiped out the passenger pigeon, all but wiped out the bison, you’re making a fair attempt at wiping out everything else. And for what?

@Bynggo I agree, my late husband was with the scientists in DC when they were proposing wolves for Yellowstone. And yes, they made a great difference.

No no no I had a male barred owl in my back yard. He brought his girlfriend and they had 2 babies. We got to watch them grow up. It was so sweet. Terrible.

My most common owl here in Missouri is the barred owl, I love them, they are awesome, lovely, and have there life purpose. Cursed evil clown world.

Yes, I had some ridiculous university indoctrinated person on CZcams continually arguing with me regarding cats being a destroyer of the ecosystem, food chain and environment. It was completely out of the realm of sanity that they could not grasp cats are food that consume and also consumed by other animals. This is the food chain; take something out of the food chain then there will be an outcome.

450,000 owls will eat on average 4 mice a night each at a total of 1.8 million mice a night. After 6 weeks a mouse can have on average 40 mice per year adding 72 million. That's just totals for the mice not eaten in one day. It's almost like they are trying to make the bubonic plauge happen!

Thank you Mary ❤ if there is a spotted owl nesting with a wildfire 🔥 near, we firefighters can't use tools, chainsaws, pumps, hoses nothing in a protected species area. And you can imagine trying to put out fire with your $350 boots the only thing you can do. Resources burn up because of protected animals.
This is so horrible. They go after those creatures whose habitat has shrunk due to the poor planning of humans! Nothing good can come of this!
