How long can it fly with yi 4k or gopro? Is it better to choose bugs 3 without camera which cost 2x visuo?
Dominik Makurat Yes if you want to carry an action camera this drone is not suitable really you should get a bugs :-)

When you're hauling a heavy camera on this drone, you have to work with gravity and inertia more like a fixed wing aircraft instead of a VTOL. If you just cut throttle and try to descend straight down, it'll flutter around and usually won't have enough power to stop falling. But if you pitch forward with the right stick while slightly letting off throttle, you'll go into a controllable dive.
pull the antenna out it 's a small simple wire visible in the side and add some wire solder or hot glue and then take apart the controller and add wire. I'm getting 500 meters easy mods cost nothing

JOHN Hahn I haven't really pushed a range test yet but between exposing the wifi antenna and using a cheap wifi extender I'm easily getting 100 meters of range with no issues.
Did you use a wifi antenna to extend the wire on the controller?

Sorry I can't remember was awhile ago, its really hard to control with this much weight so not recommended
Be sure to check the screws on each arm where it folds..one of mine was lose and the wind caught it folding in the arm it crashed from about 40 foot still fly's lol
Hi. Please help me. I have problem with controller/drone. Often it starting going to right side. When I pulling left analog to left or other way side, drone going to right side. With right analog I have same problem. Drone is new. And when I starting to shake controller drone getting crazy and going right side. Sometimes is ok but after some minutes I have problems. How can I fix it?
+Pok3rx10 Did you start the drone on a flat surface and try calibrating the gyro. I would contact the supplier if you keep having problems

I tried with gopro hero 3 black and my Visuo cant fly. I dont understand the difference , I dont think the gopro is heavier than Yik4
I just found out that the cheap Syma X600 can not carry a standard action cam which is even a lower weight ac than the Yi 4K+. I think the drives and the battery are not powerful enough. My Yi4K+ has about 95 g. Standard cheapest Action Cams have about 75 g with mounting system. So I need a Visuo XS809HW class.
Since this vid, have you tried strapping it to the bottom? Maybe slightly larger props?
Michelle Hogan Nope lol it was only abit of fun the quad was really hard to fly and could burn out the motors. I will be doing it again but on another drone :-)
It was hard to fly because the centre of gravity was lifted above the prop line. Hang it from the bottom of the drone and you will regain a lot of control.
Also, there is another app that seems to be more successful. It is called Wifi UFO. There are a few versions out there so you may have to test a few to find the one that streams without drop off.

Place a sponge 7 mm below and above the camera. Deprects the drone shake, gives a stable video recording and protects the fracture camera. Also if you use SQ11 HD :)~

How heavy was the camera and which one is it?
I bought the same drone and I'm thinking of doing it.
I saw some videos from the visuo xs809hw but the footage was shaking a lot. Do you think the weight of the 4k camera helps to stabilize?
SrRFischer Hi I would not recommend getting this drone for putting a camera on unless the camera is a really light action camera. It really restricts it flying properly, you could use the Sq11 which i reviewed or the sq12 which im doing soon. If you want a drone to carry an action cam a bugs would be much better
Thanks for answering. Well, it will be my first experience with drones so after researching some models I bought a cheap good. which of the 2 cameras is Sq11 or sq12 better? Anyway, for a beginner I think I'll be able to do some good Full HD shooting with it, correct? nothing professional hahah

What happens when you go out of range does it fall out the sky or land its self
Most good drones should decend slowly but not all do some will just drift off toy drones should always be kept close. Drones with GPS are better they auto return when out of range. Thanks

+Csaba Rumbus It felt like I was really pushing the limit with the weight but if your action camera is lighter then mine you might get away with it. I would not say you will probably have a great experience might be better off getting a slightly more powerful drone as you also run the risk of damaging the motors.
One more question. Is SQ12 1080p recording quality worse than a SJCAM? Is it worth getting a SQ12 camera? Do you know the SkyTech TK110 Drone? Which is better for Visuo or SkyTech?

I bought the XY017HW drone. My problem is to get up and go someplace and difficult to control after picking up the rescue button. It seemed unmanageable. Is this all so? Do not you stop in one place in the air? Or is there any calibration option?

+Addictive TM action cameras will likely be abit heavy unless you want really good quality Sq12 should be ok
The D Show SQ12 also got 1080p and quality is good and a bit of editing in videos and photos can make them look like recorded from action cameras

@@TheDShow wobble a lot less actually and try Velcro top camera to bottom of the drone will take out the jello effect of taping it solid. Great video

Sorry I thought you ment in general, I can't tell you exactly I think with the camera on I got to about 60-70metres but you might be able to get abit higher depending on the weight of your camera.
