    your anchor set up for top belaying is exactly how I do lol.... Just improvise whatever, as long as it's redundant and practical... And I really want to go to Verdon, hopefully this year! Cheers

    Hmmmp. The rock is so much more textured than I thought the Verdon is. I know it's steep, but a lot of your helmet cam shots makes it look like 60 degree slab!
    Thanks for posting - you are living the dream.

    Eat pastries for breakfast, smoke for the rest of the day.
    Glass of red wine and push some gourmet food around on your plate for dinner
    The French method of staying skinny👍

    This place looks so cool plus it's only an 8 hour drive from my house. But the Alps are even closer😊

      You gotta go sometime! Where do you climb in the alps most frequently?

      It's on the list :p as is Spain, Sardinia, USA, Norway😅
      Austria. I love its mountainous terrain. Pointy granite towers in all directions.

    So sick! How long have you been climbing for? I can’t wait to get on a rope one of these days out here in South Lake Tahoe, just been hitting the gym everyday getting as comfy as I can , so happy I started , kept me sober these past 7 months

      Hell yeah Eric, congrats! I have been climbing for 7 years and getting more psyched as time goes on. Keep crushing it. Lots of excellent rock in Tahoe!

    We're planning to go there in April, to climb some multipitches at up to 6C+... Would you mind sharing how hard you found this route for the grade? And how close to your max grade is this?

    • @mindfulmitjulian3640
      @mindfulmitjulian3640 Před 7 měsíci

      The Grades at Verdon depend a lot to the time each route was established. The newer the route the closer the grading is to an average European sports climb. But a 6a slab from the 7ies can be very hard, the rock often polished and the bolting often is super scary. Old cracks are even harder.
      So start with newer routes from 2000 on and you’ll have a great time.
      After some acclimation the classics are worth the try.
