- The end game of Rust has just dramatically changed. Not only did we get a new end-game monument but also an ominous countdown that reveals a server-wide wipe event as it approaches zero. We’ll examine the monument's layout, loot, enemies, utilities, features, and server wipe event.

• The NVG Scientists can open up doors. If you need a garenteed safe zone, jump over to the side of the silo where you have already killed the first group of scientists. The remaining scientists will be unable to jump across and reach you.

Thanks Dan. It could be a great idea in the future to show the whole production process from start to finish. Currently I'm using Davinci Resolve 18 to edit the videos along with Photoshop for some graphics, Excel for charts, Audacity for audio, and OBS to record gameplay.

Nice video! I think, that the Nuclear Silo should contain more Elite crates, because there is so much NVG Scientists.
Thanks and the NVG scientists are a real issue. However, if you take enough ammo and meds to fight off the scientists, the amount of loot you can get from the monument is well worth it for only a blue keycard.
@@JfarrYT I still think the Cargo event offers better lot without the Risk BUT I also think the Cargo event needs update and made harder.

Bro to be honest I’ve never even thought about trying to use a flash bang on a scientist. I use them all the time on players and they are so good but I’ve truthfully just never thought about trying them on a scientist. Good tip ! 1million IQ

Great guide. I really hope they do more with this monument tho in the future. How cool would it be if you could do some sort of mission/task to actually end wipes _ahead_ of when they normally are scheduled? People could be listed on leaderboards for fastest wipe, and would give the whole server an actual objective for once.

I still think some F1 Grenades are better as heavys like to stack in 3-4 as you can turn 225 damage into 4 times that, giving you a easy chance to finish them off.
Heck, you can probaly take no damage at all if you trow one in room and then flashbang after to finish off the enemy.
That's a good idea. Now all we need is a video on the missile silo run taking 0 damage, that would be awesome challenge.

Thank you. Though, the video has been in progress for a few weeks, and all the recording was done on staging. Just planned to have it finished after wipe day to make sure nothing was changed last second. I originally had a whole part in the video about the nuclear explosion wiping the map just in case they added it last second.

A fun event I'd like to see for server wipe would be a straight up BR event. A circle starts to close as jets fly by and fill the map with gas. It circles into some random spot, and once everyone is dead, the nuclear bomb fires off into the distance and explodes. What are we grinding for anyway if we don't get to use all we have in a big climactic final battle?
Either that or an extinction event, like asteroids, fires, floods, random bombings, ect. Whatever it is, It just has to be fun.
I believe heavy scientists have slightly more HP (400), but these NVG scientists are no joke.
It’s a challenging monument, and you only get one chance since the hatch closes behind you. I like it.
Edit: They have the same HP, just double checked myself. Not sure where I got the 400 from :)
Sure is a challenge and scary once you commit and realise there is no going back. I noticed when I shot both the heavy and NVG scientists, in the combat log they both started off at 300 HP. Maybe they have different armour absorbing properties but from memory they appeared to take the same number of shots.

Hello this my be off topic but I have a question that I have asked before without being answered. So will a chain link fence effect a wind turbine or is it just me
Just tested this scenario. When I surrounded a windmill with twig walls, it stopped. However, when I surrounded it with a chain-link fence, it continued to generate power at a normal rate. The power generated does naturally fluctuate due to varying wind speeds, so that could also be a factor in the changes you’re seeing.
I can't wait to erase some random 2x1 with a nuclear warhead one day
This is why I stopped playing rust. Make things more difficult for the player with instant hard monuments, npcs and automation, and give the player less loot for winning. That and the insane time pit this game has become.
That's pretty dope, can't wait to be camped at the exit.

How in the world did you make the houses see through? 1:37
I first get into that location and take a normal screenshot with the buildings visible. Then, I open the F1 menu and turn off the buildings from rendering. After taking a second screenshot without the buildings, I use Photoshop to combine the two images and reduce the opacity of the layer with the buildings. This creates the see-through effect.

Sure can. Might be a good idea for me to add this info as a note in the comments. It can definitely be scary to hide away and heal, only to have the door knocked down and be rushed by a scientist with night vision goggles.

Still makes me laugh the amount of idiots that actually thought youd be able to cause the wipe to happen early with this, astounding how dumb some people can be. Lets take servers that already die in 2 days and make them die in 2 hours.

happened to me an hour ago XD, just find a spot near exit that's not covered by cameras and you're good to kill anyone who finished the monument
