Thanks to this video it took me about a week to go from clueless moonwalker to beginner. I am far from good at it but am able to hold moonwalks much longer and can start it off so much easier than when I started!

I sorta just figured it out for myself after seeing other big youtubers do it, but the actual intervals you need to press A/D... that's the hard part, which is why i'm here.

When I did this on my old keyboard it was so much easier than on my new one. The old one is a really cheap office keyboard, and the new one is one i paid 100 euros for, so a good keyboard doesnt always make this easier :D

I have a question , I recognized you start with A and then D if you moonwalk away from the screen and you start with D then A if you are moonwalking towards the screen is this important or just a preference?
with dwight it feels like it has to be tick perfect. theres like no room for error.. literally my character model twitches back and forth barely moving just to pull it off

there’s another moonwalk where you move the camera around but i don’t know how that works
Ayrun made that moonwalk. Thats a kinda of advanced moonwalk. It only really requires moving the screen at the same speed the character moves their body... without over shooting it and making them turn. Watch Ayrun with what you learned here and youll get it!

same... atleast on my left hand, cuz sometimes i practice with arrow keys instead and get it down way more consistently, you can also try just holding down a and spamming D more often

The only thing I've ever heard is that no0b caps his frames at 50. Without this cap I guess he "teleports" back and forth when he moon walks. Idk anyone else whos experienced that, and even he said it's not worth changing.

I never noticed anything, even when I tried 120fps. I don't think frames matter. 60 frames should be fine.

For me , it doesn't work , i don't know , I press the exact buttons and my character doesn't moonwalk , uffff........ I'm very triggered!
It takes longer for some. Like i said it took me a month straight. Every single day for about an hour I would load up tutorial mode and practice. It's not supposed to be easy because it's not supposed to be a game mechanic. Keep trying, results come in tiny steps with this.
i recommend doing the flashlight moonwalk in a KYF match to boost your confidence as this is the easiest to do since u dont need to launch. Just hold S and tap A & D before clicking the flashlight as I show in the video.
