Bishop Carlton Pearson came to Africa severally, Zambia particularly, to attend what we called the annual Victory Conference, which was an Azusa type annual conference that brought many international speakers! So we had our fair share of the flair, grace, charisma, anointing that GOD had placed on this great Man of GOD. He once came with Alvin Fruga, who was a beast on the boards, and such an inspiration vocally. Watching this, brings a tear to my eyes, and warms my heart. For whatever it's worth, I believe in my heart of hearts, that this man loved GOD. We may not have agreed principally on certain tenets of Christianity, but Carlton Pearson loving GOD, and believing in the Lordship of Jesus, I have no doubt. ❤❤❤❤ And wait a minute... So 'Speak To My Heart' was a song sang by the choir back then???? Wow!!! Thank GOD for Donnie McClurkin popularizing it to the entire world! What a blessing!! Love that progression... I wander, if the music were to be out, would the people be as passionate as they are when the music is on . I don’t know if the understanding of Jesus or the music is driving the passion or the spirit behind this all activity. That is why our Christian faith is so fragile, it collapses when trials and tribulations occur. Instead of perpetuating cultural myths,that did not work for our fathers, why not understand the true meaning of Christ, and demystify the cultural myth that drove unknown number of people to psychosis including the man , who wrote this message, l am speaking from my own personal experience. It is emotionalism, without deeper understanding. As a culture may it is beneficial, but as truth it does not fly, talking this whole thing literally you will end up consuming antidepressants, Prozac, Paxil, Zolaft and the demons are not allergic to antidepressants. Do not follow people who say, they found the truth, but follow those who say, they are seeking it in my opinion. Nobody have monopoly on the TRUTH ❤.
