How to Use LoRa to Launch Model Rockets Wirelessly

- Launching a model rocket can be as simple as connecting 2 wires to a drill battery, but that doesn't look that cool, and you need to be close to the rocket itself, because of the wires. So, instead of that setup, Milos made a rocket launching terminal in a rugged waterproof case!
It communicates with a small rocket launcher using LoRaWAN, and the rocket is ignited using supercapacitors, so the whole system can be powered using a small 9V battery.

I love the Mythbusters like graphics in the beginning. Thanks for sharing the project, very cool and may be something my son and I get into.
And that's the show I grew up on, glad you like it! I highly recommend getting into this hobby if you can find a kit locally, it's fun to build and even more fun to launch!
I particular like the explanation graphics for the circuit! Welcome to the Team !!
Thanks!
Would definitely like the big fire button model - it's not in the description.
The first link in the description leads to the element14 page where you can find all of the resources for this video! I'll double check if the button files are there and add them if they're missing!
Re the cap balancer, if you treat the upper rail as a common for the upper half, you could probably get rid of the diff-amp... Even as-is, do you really need the diff-amp...? Hmm... Just a thought.
No oscillation problems driving those gates?
Really cool project. But this is just (plain) LoRa and not LoRaWAN, right?
Thanks, glad you like it! Error in the title, you're right, we've changed it to LoRa, thanks!
@@123DragonHeart Cool. I was wondering how you managed the uplink/downlink with LoRaWAN. Would be too much effort with LoRaWAN 😁
Fisher Price Dr Strangelove. Send this to Ukraine. Super cool project and educational. Ty.
