Joyce did well for sure but the stoppage was damn too early I guess. There’s no obvious sign that Takam was not responsive. Either way, Joyce would likely still win but maybe after few more rounds
If takam had gotten the jab pumping then he would stayed in the fight to maybe win it but he has a bad habit of just soaking up punches and not throwing back so
A shame Takam fought Joyce at 40. 30 - 35 Takam would have beaten him I reckon. His legs and stamina just aren't what they once were, unfortunately. Couldn't keep up the sustained pressure. Still, Joyce adjusted well in the 3rd onward and started to stop Takam's limited attack opportunities which, let's be honest, he only really was landing with the overhand right. Not hard to defend against when you know it's coming.
Takam seems to stay standing and take beatings until the ref calls it off too much. Sometimes it's better to just take a knee and recover than prove how tough you are. He did this against AJ as well but didn't take as much damage from AJ.
19:14 pretty quick hands
joe's a wrecking machine
Ref called it off abit too soon without a doubt, should have let it go on a little bit longer
Joyce Vs Takam 2 ?? When ?
It was not an early stoppage with that many unanswered punches. You have to punch back or the Ref will stop the fight whether you're hurt or not.
At the MOST, give Takam a standing eight count. This is professional boxing not amateur boxing.
@@handsupboxing8153there is no standing 8 count in pro boxing, idiot. It’s an amateur practice. Boxing fans are morons.

Yeah, that was pretty horrible. At the MOST, give Takam a standing eight count. This is professional boxing not amateur.
