- [Builder's view] Fujimi1/24 Isuzu Piazza is in progress.
I decided to order Tamiya Hakosuka GT-R tires that I had from a previous build. Although they are slightly wider, they are much narrower compared to the kit's stock tires.
Next, I will modify the deep rims of the wheels, cutting both the inside and outside to match the width.
Even though the Piazza originally has a double wishbone suspension, I will proceed with the work, aligning it with the kit without worrying about that.

Hi Kenji, I'm actually glad that this Piazza needs so much modification because I Love to see all of your customization work. You do so much to make things perfect. バカな自分語りですけど、昔（中学生の頃）、117クーペのプラモを作った時、レースかぶれだったせいで、めちゃワイドトレッドにしてオーバーフェンダーとでかいチンスポイラーとリアウイング乗っけて、「ぼくのかんがえたさいきょうのGr.5」にした悪い記憶が蘇りました（＾＾；）。Kenjiさんの素晴らしいスキルで、悪夢を振り払ってください！笑

I have been looking for a very long time for many of the tools you use...can't find heavy duty tweazers like you have. Just cheap flimsy ones. Where can I find a set of the ones you use? Love watching all your videos, you inspire me to make my models better.

当時のスカイラインGT-Rの実車は225幅のタイヤだった筈。
それを遥かに上回る太さのホイールって…どんだけのスーパーカーだったんでしょう😅
ホイールもディスク面基準でのリム側でのインセット調整ですから、大変ですね。
一見何事もなくやられていますが、塩梅を4本揃えるのは大変なはず。😅
簡単に真似できるとは思えません。…てか、こんなに手が掛かるキットに自分は手を出さないと思います。
ところで、前から思っていたのですが、Kenjiさんは2輪の競技車両は製作されますが、4輪は市販車しか作りませんね？
何か理由があるのでしょうか？

太いはずのRのタイヤが細く見えるぐらいの、とんでもないホイールでした😅
ただ好きなものを作っているとこうなっただけで、二輪のGPや8耐等はサーキットに毎年行ってたくらい好きでした。四輪はWRCは好きですが、その他はそれほどではないからかも知れません。とはいえ実は何台も作ったことあるんですよ。四輪の競技車両。

自分は4輪レースに鈴鹿や富士、筑波や菅生に若い頃は行ってました。
そのせいかフォーミュラやCカーメインの製作になっています。

I am pre planning a build of the Tamiya 2000 GT-R like you built but am in need of some different tires for the wheels I am using.

I have a manual since I purchased the kit myself. Without buying it personally, you won't have the reference number, so you can't place an order for the parts.
I cannot understand why you removed the outer rim, when you could have just removed the inner part of the wheel? It would have saved a lot of time in my opinion.
Deep-rimmed wheels like that don't suit regular cars, and those wheels don't even have that outer rim on the outside in the first place.
