Really like the short drone interludes while you speak mate, I think they really work and compliment what you’re doing and the longer drone segments. Hope you’re well my friend ⛰️
What a fantastic pitch. Looks an amazing area from the drone footage and your hike up to the loch. You make things look easy and under control but conditions still looked tough. Thanks for sharing this with us Dave. Bet you were gutted to miss all that snow in The Lakes the other week😂 Take it easy mate
Haha. Cheers Simon. I went up to the Highlands for the weekend in search of winter snow and it all hit the Lake District and Wales. I wasn’t disappointed tho; video out this weekend 😜. ATB 😁👍
Hi Dave. Cracking video mate. It’s getting a popular walk is this. You’re the fourth person I follow that has done this in the last couple of months. It looks spectacular, I need to get up there. Cheers for sharing your adventure. All the best Dave
Lovely video again. I was up there this time last year & stayed in my little campervan in that car park. Absolutely loved the walk up to Loch Skeen…what a beautiful place it is.
Loved this one Dave. Last time I went up by the Gray Mares Tail waterfall was on New Years day about 10 years ago. It was very moody and atmospheric - I kept waiting for Brigadoon to appear out of the mist 😆Enjoy watching your channel as unable to get out myself now. Keep up the good work 👍
Yeah it’s a lovely place Mary. Sorry to hear you can’t get out. Hopefully my videos can be a bit of a tonic and bring back happy memories like this one🙏🏻. Take care
Hey mr darwen. My pet dog , Billy is still keeping an eye out for you around Lancashire moors. The young fella is 15 and your biggest fan . Blessings from rivington.
if you want a good day out with a nice flat camping spot, try walking up Caw in the Coniston fells. My first walk was wow, how could such a small insignificant fell be so good. all rocky with great views. North Wales, neve seen that before in 14 years of living in the Lakes
Only a short one this time but still enjoyed it you always seem to get clear Weather every time you're both out, let's see what the December camp brings cheers guys😊
nice wee jaunt; I think cos of the geology there - it's a bit of a funnel. enjoy! and it gets so dark so early in Scotland - sometimes as early as half 3 by xmas so thats a hell of a lot of hours under canvas with nothing but pitch black lol.
Hope you can get through whatever you're dealing with Gary. Easier said than done but trying to take some pleasure from the small things in life (peace outdoors, nature do it for me) helps me if I'm feeling low. All the best
Great video mate love your channel 👍 I have the allak 2 as well and was planning camping on white coomb summit next week - how confident are you in the allak mid winter on the summits? Are there any conditions in the at any altitudes you would have doubts about its capabilities, given that it is not a black label model? Look forward to your next video, all the best 👍
Much appreciated 🙏🏻 Love the Allak. I’ve probably done about 6 summit camps above 3000ft since I got it last December. Check out my Scafell Pike winter summit camp video.
@TheSoloSummiteer Funnily enough that is the first video of yours I watched and I've watched them all since - cracking video - balls of steel 👏👍 You should try The Cheviots/ Northumberland National Park, very remote, good altitude and only an hour or so from where you were here. Thanks again, ATB
I'm sure you won't freeze anything off so long as you're not alone in the tent. 😊 Sorry, sometimes I can't resist. What a beautiful location!🎉 Other countries would build a road and/or a cable car, a hotel at the lakeside and at the least have rowing boats for rent. (That sounds rather like Bavaria, come to think of it.)
That looked a great spot folks - a lovely sunny morning to wake to as well :) 👌👍
Cheers Murray. Aye it’s a lovely wee spot 👍
Wow! What a magnificent camping spot.
Cheers Francis 🙏🏻
This is brilliant my friend 🥾🥾

Lost my 'camp a month' in October after almost 2 years. Gutted but will just start again. 😃 Lovely spot for a camp, thanks for sharing.ATB, Roger
No way Roger. It sounds relatively easy but life can sometimes get in the way. Good luck with your next attempt tho 👊. ATB

@@chris-8696 many thanks for your support. Hopefully things will improve, but these videos do help in a small yet significant way.
Lovely area around there Dave, not quite the Highlands but fantastic hills and valleys cheers for sharing

Yeah, know what you mean. Fortunately it’s still unspoiled up there 🙏🏻

You were the one mentioning frozen spherical objects. ;)

Did Shaun not fancy it ? hope he's OK...haha.
Haha. Shaun is good. He joined us on this trip but was pretty quiet for a change 😁👍
