It's been almost a year since I was diagnosed with dry AMD. I immediately started taking AREDs 2. My last checkup a month ago shows no further advancement of the disease since I went on them.
Why do they call it age-related macular degeneration when I'm reading comments all over CZcams about 20 year olds with it? Something else is going on here.
I don’t think it’s age either. Risk factors include obesity, sedentary lifestyle, HBP, extensive time in the sun, light eyes and light skin. I don’t think it’s sun exposure but rather people are more sedentary and even more unhealthy than past generations.
It’s sugar and seed oils causing inflammation inside our bodies. Eat salmon, leafy greens.berries, etc. Not chemically modified McDonalds French fries dripping in bad oil.
Could it be lifestyle-related or drug-related macular degeneration rather than age-related? Something is destroying the health of the eyes and it could be sugar, alcohol, smoking, dairy, radiation, stress, bacteria and drugs. Age is not the primary cause of disease, its unhealthy living...
Unhealthy living may not not help but my mother was a health nut and still got it and it went from dry to wet. And it's hereditary. I have the dry form and am taking AREDS.
A year later nobody answered you because you obviously couldn't be bothered to watch the video that mentions early on that AREDS 2 vitamins are over the counter available in any drug store!
Just curious, how do you take your vitamins? Take then with just a bit of food might help yiur situation. Everyone is different but nothing in AREDS 2 should make you react negatively. Something else is going on.

When you get old, you shrivel up. Young people that have it due to other reasons. Eye injuries, drugs, eye damage
Sometimes diet plays a big role in getting it, and many doctors think that seed oil are a big problem for our eyes. Seed oil is in almost everything!

I have a coworker that is very healthy and she has really bad eyes, and shes in her 60s. All those are a factor and age is also a factor
