Would you mind measuring from the steering column to the edge of the steering part that you grip on? I want to put the same setup in my car, but am worried it will bring the steering wheel too close to me. So curious on the depth.
I’ve been looking at getting one of these but I can’t make up my mind which color to get because they totally nailed the styling on all three colors.

Hey Carter quick question, if you connect all the wires for the horn, do the wires stick out when you take out the wheel from the quick release?

Flynn’s Garage the wheel is great. so much better over stock! I personally haven’t tracked it since I installed the wheel but driving it just on the road is great!

hey, i have the same QR and short hub but im still deciding what wheel i want. Does your setup poke out too much? or is it too close to your face?
It definitely sticks out further than stock (it is a deep dish after all) but not to any uncomfortable degree. Only thing is because the rim of the wheel is further away from the turn signal stalks, a lot of people however get extensions for them for easier reach.

dont u have to rewire the airbag somehow so the engine thinks its still there? (if using the stock engine)
if you don’t install a resistor in place of the airbag it’ll run an airbag light. My particular Miata doesn’t have the stock engine, but this system works independently of the engine regardless.
@@cartermaneki thx for the quick answer. So if the airbag light doenst bother me i can just leave the wires "open"? The car wont have any nasty safety fuckarounds like you could expect from newer cars?
I just pulled out my service manual wiring diagrams to verify, and you should be all good. The air bag control module doesn’t tie into the ECU at all. If you’re interested in the diagrams for this system or any others DM me on Instagram @notanrs

can you still reach the stalks?
With the rim of the wheel being further out now, the stalks do sit a bit further back in relation to the wheel, but its still very manageable. I've seen people put on extenders also to get a little extra reach on the stalks.
Like the quick release,steering wheel not so much!
