La Porte area here. I hope it won’t be too bad. I’m expecting a lot of rain but hopefully no flood (since I live in a flood risk area) and no electricity outage. I’m tired of the frequent outages.
If Trump was president he would have a contingency plan off the coast of Africa in international waters to bomb( conventional) the low circulation from even making a hurricane in the first place.
Houston is not the place to have an EV as your Primary Vehicle. Flooding occurs all through the city in normal conditions let alone during Hurricane Season.

California got theirs last year with a dozen atmospheric ocean storms. They received Biblical levels of water, and some of their water woes have been helped greatly. Mother nature is not without dark humor.

It was supposed to be a low end TS or Cat 1 and it ended up a Cat 4. It is always best to be prepared for the worst. No one wants to be caught with their pants down. Unless you're into that stuff.

I’m a Canadian located by Calgary. I’m so jealous as I would LOVE to experience a hurricane. Most I ever get is pop up thunderstorms that no more than ten minutes. Even blizzards are rare in the winter. Nevertheless I hope everyone is safe.
