i still love the instant burst kill dmg kat
you can still instant burst by building nashor first, and then heartsteel/or go heartsteel only if your comp has no sustain champs.
Been trying this build a lot I think I must go that early bami.
U chose this build only in some situations. For enemy team have champs does Small scratch damage such as ashe, malzahar, samira, tanks, fighters. Tank is pretty good.
Otherwise if your team lack of all OR enemy team have those nasus, varus, vayne. Who will do big damage in extended fight. Go ap or ad. I found out going kraken first into playble laning And look for early kills. Then going toward riftmaker Then nashers is very nice. U got healing and scaling
Yeah same as the other guy I had to change my playstyle so much. In low Elo with this build I lose a lot of cs, lose a lot of damage in key early team fights, and failed to make an impact in every game. Even though I have 900k on Kat I never felt that powerless with her before 😅
its not actually that bad for trading if you go doran shield second wind and grasp sustain you quite well so youre playstyle revolves around getting as many grasp stacks as posible and hopefully start out sustaining the enemy in the long run its definetely hard style to learn but if you really have 900k you will get it fast, i suggest watching katevolved since he cooked this build and he explains better the playstyle and if youre still insecure about it just run tp and after you get titanic your damage spikes
@@juampi99990 so that’s actually exactly what my runes were and sums were flash tp or tp ignite. Build would be HS -> Titanic -> Sunfire or Demonic Embrace -> etc
Laning itself was easier and one of the only things I liked. I liked being harder to kill and sustaining early. It was when I roamed for fights before I can get Titanic where I struggled. I get priority and roam fine, but I couldn’t get resets cause you have low dmg before titanic compared to ad or ap builds. That has an opposite snowball effect cause you’re not getting kills/gold and opponents are resetting and getting second chances.
In low elo games are determined much sooner so having an up front impact is actually quite important for champs like Katarina. So idk. 🤷 played like 5 or 6 HS games and didn’t like it
@@ASimDiary i want to try it but going blasting wand into heartsteel for more damage and viability early but it would delay spike by a good amount so idk

Basically just farm until heartsteel/titanic unless you are gonna teamfight, once you get it to work it is amazing!
i think you could try going blasting wand into heartsteel for triple scaling with heartsteel demonic titanic
No offense its a good build but no way in hell this works in plat and below
you just wont have the dmg for objectives untill mid to late game and its allready too late at that point, would say nashors into heartsteel into shadowflame and whatever and then get titanic would be much better

I never understood why they turned kat into an onhit champion. It doesnt fit her character AT ALL and she's been broken multiple times because of it. Just remove all onhit in her kit and make her an ap assassin like she was originally? Cuz this shit makes zero sense.
She has been one of thw lowest wr champions, whachu mean broken, you don't get those full time R's like you see in reels homie, that is not posible in emerald +
Like, try to find a season where she has more than 50% wr?¡¡
@@santiagocano7769 I think we can agree he identity is completely fucked right now. I played the old katarina a lot and I think they should revert her, if she's weak then buff her stats or ratios.
I like doing the On-Hit builds and stuff but I agree that it didn’t make any sense to make that addition to her kit.
Agreed, on hit also ruined her laning phase cause she’s item-dependent. You are not allowed to have conflict against the enemy team till your first on hit item pop up.
