    If we find 1 trillion $ worth diamond asteroid near earth and sent mining stuff and bring all those diamonds home, by the time they unload those diamonds price will be 5$ a kilo.
    We can't measure value of out of earth stuff.

    • @camerondavis7518
      @camerondavis7518 Před 7 lety +26

      Tony Skywalker not exactly. mining in space is expensive, so in order to turn up a profit the price of the diamonds would increase, however if you had a lot they'd probably still be cheaper than earth diamonds, but definitely not cheap!

    • @dman5909
      @dman5909 Před 7 lety +13

      Diamonds are not as valuable as you think. There are currently tons and tons of it being mined as we speak. The reason it is so expensive is because the value is controlled. When the diamond price goes down they slow down production so it rises. Don't take my word for it. The chairman of De Beers Diamond Corporation, Nicky Oppenheimer said "diamonds are intrinsically worthless".

    • @memebois9764

  • @ProfessorPolitics
    @ProfessorPolitics Před 7 lety +7

    The problem with calculating the "worth" of these asteroids is that their value is projected with the current scarcity of the resource. Price is set by supply and demand and if we got access to these bodies the total supply will go waaaaay up causing the price (and the value of the asteroid) to go down.

      Saanvi karkra I have ADHD and have looked into it myself. Scientists still haven't actually discovered what specifically causes it but it's like strongly to genetics is seems as it does tend to run in families. It can be cause by other things before birth but mostly the previous. However, we still don't know what actually causes it in the genetic aspect, but in your brain, your synapses have a slower reaction time than most people, causing you to easily lose focus on uninteresting tasks.
