Tried it and came out very nicely. Before trying this recipe I checked others but didn’t find anything simple and as authentic as this one! Thank you for sharing...!
I followed your recipe and the pork curry turned out so delicious! I love the tiny hack of using powders rather than the whole masala and then grinding them later. I paired it with kerala style puttu and it tasted equally good.
I tried it today.. It came out with amazing taste 😋. loved it.
I’m from Bengal but love South Indian food. Your cooking style is simple and good

One of my favourite recipes from you. I got the chance to taste this dish when your brother Thomas cooked for us when we were studying in UK, using your own hand made masala. Thanks for sharing.

This I learnt two years ago, and from then I have become expert in this and also shared this recipe with so many of my friends ❤ and they all are so happy.😊
Your beautiful recipe and the resulting dish look so incredibly delicious and flavor packed. I will give this a try in my kitchen at home for sure. Unfortunately where I live curry leaves are not available. And I will have to substitute another type of vinegar, perhaps some sugar cane vinegar. But necessity and experimentation are the mothers of all inventions! Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipe Nisa! Cheers.
Tried this recipe exactly the way it has been demonstrated here. All my guests liked it...awesome.

Lovely! Will make soon. Ma'am there's a lot of recipes for Coorg Black masala. Some use mustard, fennel, khus khus and what not. Can you give us the authentic masala recipe that we can make using whole spices and store?
Hi Nisa I tried this recipe today it turned out great. I didnt have kachumpali but used kodumpalli instead. When in coorg will definetly pick up a bottle. lovely recipe thanks.
We supply kachampuli . Email us to Istruct9@gmail.com. We need 30 days time to deliver within india.1450 Rs per bottle.
Enjoyed your cooking ❤

Awesome recipe.. I tried this recipe, and it came out really well.As suggested in a reply to an earlier comment, I used kudam puli.
Glad to know that you enjoyed the dish and that you took time to go through the comments :)
Even this day I'm watching this recipe and preparing pork. Only thing is I don't have Kachampuli. I add tamarind syrup. Still it's worth eating.
Thank you so much for the most delicious recipe

Wow thanks Nisa that was fast! Love you to bits! I keep checking you tube just to see if you posted any new recipes. Love it
+Cfernz Thank you so much for the lovely comment....hope you will try this dish and let me know :)
+Nisa Homey how can I get the kodumpulli sauce that u add.
Cfernz That is Coorg vinegar known as kachampuli....it is actually boiled kudampuli juice simmered for long to get a thick sauce. You can try making it at home with a handful of kudampuli and boil it in about 2 cups of water and then simmer it for sometime and then strain that water and again simmer until you get a thick dark sauce.........I have also tried once by cooking the pork with 3 kudampuli and then removing them once the pork is done....but I have noticed a slight change in taste....hope this helps. I have heard that you get this bottled in Mangalore and Bangalore; and of course if you visit Coorg, don't forget to get a bottle :)
chechi.. I went to coorg 3 months before.. and I just loved their pork dishes and coorg special rice balls... can u plz show how to make the rice balls..
+bibin mathew Mohan Hi, Bibin Mathew, those rice balls are called "kadumputtu" its made with rice and best served with pork fry, yes...I will try to make a video on that soon...thanks for stopping by :)
Supper
The best recipe for croogi pork .. love it:-)

Ma'am thanks a lot showing us to how to make coorg pork 🐷. fry
thank u for the mouthwatering recipe.
I tried to do this in the US and set off my fire alarms from the smoke lol. But the smoky flavor is well worth it
👌
Madam,I have dried kudampuli which we use for Kerala fish curry, during which stage should we use it in this recipe instead of its extract form?
hi madam, for same procedure can v use it for chicken or mutton?
Or tamarind can be used instead of Coorg vinegar... Please tell me. I wanna try it tommorow
Visited coog recently, became a big fan of Pandi fry. excellent recipe, well presented...
