Nice lessons but it will take more than one day to master correctly this last one... Thank you Terry for making jazz music more "affordable" !

Found syncing of raising the fingers up very challenging.

Looks easy when you do it, but I am sure will take LOTS of practice! Thanks again!

I liked Terry's photo looking like Rocky Balboa!

Thanks Terry, really looking forward for the Webinar. That Dm7 sounds so cool with the subtle change you have introduced. Thanks a lot and thanks to Chris as well.

    Hey terry!
I was not getting it at the beginning sounded a bit rough and untidy
But then I recalled when you said that you are supposed lift your fingers after strumming
So now am doing much better !!!
    Thanks a lot

As I teach often times I don't realize how fast I am doing something even when I have slowed it down. The good news we can stop and replay but I notice even with that It tends to be too fast or the need to repeat more than once in the slowed down section (three or four times is better). Just a thought when instructing.
Thank you for doing this. This is awesome!

Activate the subtitles, please. My english is not very good and the subtitles help me understand you. Thank you.

Sounds great played by you. I find the strum easy. Picking up between strums very difficult. I couldn’t find links to videos mentioned in this video.

Woodshedding C#° 7 to Dm7. Not a smooth transition YET! Also it looks easy when you are raising your fingers. Can you demo a bit slower? I love jazz and so appreciate that you are teaching this genre. THANK YOU!

Terry, Thank you for the jazz lessons and thank you in advance for the upcoming workshop. I am currently working through your mastery 1 lessons and am wondering what to do next. Should I do the mastery 2 lessons? Or what. I have forty years experience playing plectrum banjo and traditional jazz music with the Sacramento Banjo Band. So far your lessons have been pretty easy. I read music. I am pretty familiar with music theory. I need work with scales and inversions and would like to play chord melody with a combination of single notes and full strums. Are you putting together a full jazz course? If so I would’ve interested. Anyway thanks for the lessons. So far they have been great.

Lifting fingers in the left hand in the upstroke is soooooo hard! It’s gonna be a few hours yet....

You play an Am7 on each up strum. It sounds nice but it makes me confuse. Is it still a 251 progression? Would not it be a problem to use this technique in keys that does not contain Am7 diatonically.

Is that a concert or tenor size ukelele?
