Quite a bit over the top considering there are no scheduled international flights from/to MHG for quite some time (aside from the daily cargo flights to Bologna, Italy / BLQ)

Nice memories from better times. Tegel (TXL) was probably one of the last airports designed for the comfort of its passengers - not the retailers: only a few steps from the back row in the aircraft to the back seat of the taxi. Gone. I still have to fly from the infamous new BER - but rumors are that it is designed rather like an IKEA warehouse :-)
But by the very same architect who designed Tegel: Meinhard von Gerkan.
Очень зачетный видеообзор в очередной раз! Знакомый до боли звук двигателей, он похож на звук двигателей Бомбардье Dash Q-8, по-моему. Самолет 1993 г., офигеть. Внутри и снаружи выглядит отменно для этого возраста. Я считал, что только у нас такие остались и их называют летающие гробы, хотя ясное дело, если обслуживание у машины нормальное, то всё должно быть ок. Ну и в конце в титрах очень приятно было прочитать...)

Back in 2008 the Wowereit administration was eager to close the historic Tempelhof airport - and with the shiny new BER airport about to open soon, they bought the temporary hall which was put up after the Düsseldorf airport fire (some sharp toungues said "they bought it on ebay") brought it to Berlin to accomodate the flights from THF. Well - it took another 12 years and a staggering EUR 7.000.000.000 to bring the new airport into service. (some say it it was only due to the reduced traffic during the Corona crisis that they dared to open the BER terminal - with some facilities still not completely operational when they opened)

159 EUR. Only 9 passengers flew that flight...
@@poletme I guess you gave up finding the lowest availlable one-way ticket price (99,-€ - almost never availlable) and went for the next higher one which is relatively scarce, too.
Unfortunately you went the less exciting flight direction towards MHG.
Departure from MHG is much more exciting because they never do reduced power take-offs.
Always max power for safety reasons (hold on runway/set brakes/apply full power/release brakes and "catapult" aircraft ...) with pretty impressive acceleration ...
The Do328 is a very powerful turboprop - exactly the opposite of the AN-24 ...

Does anybody know why the airport bus in TXL (Berlin-Tegel) has the logo of MUC (Munich) on it? Did they buy it second hand? Edit: the GPU and TUG has also a MUC logo and Aeroground sinage.

На большой высоте внизу в полях ветрогенераторы были? Несколько штук, белые такие, и очевидно очень большие, сопоставимо по размеру с полем. За видео спасибо, интересно сравнивать и убеждаться, что тот же лес, тот же воздух и та же вода.
На АТР-42 похож. Я конечно не спорю что это он, но какие-то черты есть
Прилетает в российские малые города с микро аэропортами похожими на заплёванный автовокзал - всё ок, но коментс. Прилетел в небольшой немецкий город с небольшим (соответственно городу и статусу), красивым, уютным аэропортом - комментарий: аэропорт крохотный.
Ухоженные люди, ухоженная страна, ухоженный самолет = красивый ролик.

У немцев почти нет авиакатастроф. Единственный раз и то какой то летчик психбольной. Пунктуальность. Чёткое соблюдение регламентов. Нет причин для аварии.

Da ist ja leider nicht viel los bei RNA, mit nur einer Handvoll Fluggästen. Oder hat der Filmer einen schlechten Tag erwischt...?
Bin bisher 2 mal mit RNA geflogen und da waren leider auch nur wenige Passagiere an Bord. Aber irgendwie muss sich der Preis ja rechtfertigen. Wobei ich denke, dass es auch Flüge gibt, die wesentlich voller sind. Kommt wohl darauf an, ob Ferienzeit ist.

В начале руления Дорнье пятится хвостом вперед. Это он сам так лихо на обратной тяге винтов или все-таки тягачом выталкивали? Где-то попадалось видео, где ютэйровский ATR такой фокус проделывал. P.S. Все понял, вопрос снят. Дальше видно отъезжающий тягач.

What the hell, did you pay 159 Euros for this trip. OMG! Are tickets crazy expensive in Europe like this?
The ticket prices of this airline are that expensive because it's more like a busines airline. Also it's the only Airline, thats operating flights from/to Mannheim. If you would book a flight operated by Easy Jet for exmaple, a trip from Berlin to Frankfurt (45 minutes driving from Mannheim) you would pay around 25-80€ (sometimes more if you book late).

The Do328 is a pretty expensive aircraft to operate (only 31 seats and cost per seat is high) and Mannheim has only a short runway (1120m).
Impossible to operate bigger aircraft from Mannheim.
There are - very few - tickets at 99,-€ ow availlable on the Berlin route (not availlable to HAM or GWT).
