I have a 2009. I love it. Yes, above 65-70mph is frenetic. But most real nice cruising back roads are 65 and under, and also a bit twisty, which is way more fun. This bike is the king of that kind of riding or cruising. My next bike will probably be a M109. And I will keep the C50. I have 2 sons.

Spring is the most dangerous time to ride. Drivers not used to looking for bikes, potholes-locally they spread pea gravel after patching like ball bearings.
I scout roads before any night riding and leave lots of room from cars to dodge road hazards. Love my C50, can't wait for nice weather, I'm a cold weather whimp.

@@jeffw1246layers just like snowmobiling... because 45 feels like 25 at 50mph... even in summer I wear a jacket and hoodie for that reason and it's more slide protection and padding in case of. Fall

This is all very familiar to me. Throughout the video, I could see mistakes being made and thought to myself "Yep. I've done exactly that." I also bought a C50 as a neophyte. It is a great bike but big and difficult to maneuver at low speeds. I've since acquired an S40, the C50's single-cylinder little brother, and am hoping to use it to hone my skills on the smaller, more maneuverable bike a bit to make the riding experience on the C50 a bit better.

    Not bad, man.
While it's cold here, I watched the video in anticipation of the motoseason. An interesting city, as I understood it in Texas.
    Keep making new videos

I just got the M50 an i'm having a hell of a time with slow turns feels so damn heavy.. and doing sharp 90 degree turns i feel like i need it to lean over so far to make the turn that it feels like its on the edge of falling over..

The M50's are real cool! honestly I slightly prefer the look and style of those but i just grabed what was available to me when i was ready to buy. I've definitly been taking some of my left hand turns a little wide for the same reasons stated above but i think its more of confidence thing for me. I think a bit more practice and counterbalancing may fix the issue! Is the M50 your first bike or have you had others in the past?

@@DunkyKung yeah I've definitely been going wide too was on the center line once or twice.. which is a oh shit that's not right moment.. M50 is my first bike.. probably a bit heavy for a first but, I had an opportunity to trade a project car which was the only real way I was gonna be able to afford it. And truthfully it is the bike I wanted.. so yeah I'm just gonna need to work on getting comfortable with turns. Feels like such a fine balance sometimes between falling and not

The M50 is about 50 lbs lighter and much more nimble. If you ride in a lot of traffic, the M50's the way to go. Longer back country rides or highway riding, the C50. Just my opinion though, I've had both bikes and love them equally! Both will be fine, just a matter of preference.
