    hey anna! love your crochet videos, but one suggestion, i’ve noticed in your tutorials that the camera is really far away from your work and doesn’t clearly show what you’re doing. i’ve also noticed comments (in other videos too) pointing that out as well- so maybe if you placed your camera a little closer to your crochet, then you might not have as many comments complaining about the same thing🙏🏻 just want to help!❤

    Thank you for this tutorial I love the top! I wanted to make it but change it a bit so that I could wear it in the winter as well, so that the back isn’t bare. I was thinking of just making the gap for the lacing smaller, and making the bottom half wrap around a lot further onto the back (and then maybe sewing the opposite ends together at the back?) What are your thoughts on this? I’m not sure if it will sit right. Thanks!

      I just made this top and adjusted it a bit and it turned out fine! I accidentally made the back too short so I added some ribbing on the sides for the laces. There might be a tiny gap on the sides where it folds if you sew the bottom part together in the back, depending on how the top part is, but it’s not bad at all!

    hi anna! thank you so much for this tutorial! i love the way you explain things in detail. i have a quick question- how are you able to tell which side of your work is the “right side” or outside of the piece? i always end up getting confused regarding what side is the right one or the wrong one when crocheting. tysm for this tutorial again i’m really excited to start this project!

    • @anna-greene
      @anna-greene  Před 7 měsíci +2

      hi!! an easy way to remember the "right side" is by the position of your beginning chain or slip stitch tail. if it's on the right side, it means that you’re on the "wrong side," and vice versa. but honestly with most stitches, you can just choose the side that looks neater/prettier, the side with fewer mistakes, as your "right side." to keep track, you can mark this side with a stitch marker so you can easily recognize it as the good side as you work. hope that helps 🫶🫶

    Hi, for the second part I did a chain of 90 then plus 10 so 100 but every time I finish the first row there isn't 4 chains left and I was wondering if this was because it was a different length to yours or if there's something else I'm doing wrong? I've gone back and done it over and definitely counted right but it's still going wrong?
