To be fair, You picked a limited, hand made, Aprilia exclusive SC Project system, and compared it to a basic Graves exhaust with a hideous logo on the side... Your average SC Project slip on does not cost much more than that graves system, and looks undeniably better. It is also in MotoGP, and is a championship proven exhaust brand. The GP-22 is one of a kind, weighs less than 1 lb (the mounting hardware is the only thing that puts this over 1 lb technically), and it sounds VISCOUS. And yes, the packaging is pretty nice, but I don't think that justifies the price of course. It's just a cool, unique exhaust that people have the *option* of buying. And it having a nice presentation seems right. Yes it is expensive, you don't have to buy it, but these are potentially a 1 time deal.. Meaning they might not manufacture them in the future. So the price point I think has a lot to do with the limited availability, and the hand craftsmanship. Same with the stealth mirrors by Rizoma. They are manufactured from a solid block of Aluminum. The FOV might not be great, but they are definitely a plus, for people that like the look. And bar end mirrors on a supersport.... I don't think they look good. Maybe on a naked bike. But I think the stealth mirrors are more designed to be used when in full tuck, not sitting in an upright position. Most people remove their mirrors completely, so it's nice just to have the option. Anyway, I know you aren't going to change your mind or anything, I just wanted to point out a few things. Because I personally love SC Project exhausts and Rizoma mirrors. Please don't view me as an "influencer" either. I haven't posted in years and could care less about all of that. Numerous great systems out there, and for the quality and $, Graves,Yosh, M4, & Arrow shouldn’t be overlooked. Arrow is the best sounding exhaust system I’ve ever heard on a GSXR750. I could never justify paying $2200 for a slip-on no matter who was endorsing it. I bought a race-only full system direct from Yosh for a CBR1000RR for the same $, and at the time they had only built 12 of them for pro race teams like mine. You’re 100% correct that those $ would be better spent on better tires, brakes, and track time. However, exhaust systems tend to grab the attention.
Arrow on CFMoto 800MT like my moto sounds awful it doesn't have a soul! So in the end maybe is personal preference?? I would love to hear all the exhausts on my bike so I could choose, but as far as my motorcycle I can hear only SC Project and Arrow and SC Project SC1-R sounds great in comparison to arrow.

I think what Sc-Project is doing is correlating their prices to the price of the motorcycle. Meaning the higher the price for the motorcycle, the higher the price for the exhaust. Like for example, for a Yamaha R3, it costs ~$700 for the exhaust system. For a higher end Yamaha, like the MT-09, it costs ~$1200 for the exhaust system. And another higher end, the Yamaha R1 will set you back ~$1600 for the exhaust system. If we add in more rare or exotic motorcycles like the Aprilia, it will boost up the price massively. What Sc-Project is doing isn't good to the sense of the normal rider that will at most spend $20k on a motorcycle, but Sc-Project is pushing the fact that the more people are willing to spend on the motorcycle, the more they spend on the exhaust system/slip-on.
There are a lot of folks here in my city with SC Project exhausts and knock off which say SC Project are amazing. They confuse loudness with amazing sound. I have a 1000sx with a Leo Vince Factory S Titanium end can and stock pipes with cc and resonator still on and it sounds just right. Good observation!. I share the same opinion. People base it mainly on the brand as several products. I have a KO lightning exhaust that looks like the Sc Project and does the same job for $175.
Totally agree! I have a Akra on my rsv4 as well and like the look of the GP-22. But $2.2k is seriously an unrealistic price point. A set of forged wheels would be a better buy at that point.
Yeah Titax aluminum forged go for about that, I saw some Galespeed ones that are actually full on forged magnesium wheels at that price. Those come out of Japan, I haven't heard too much but what I have heard was good.

i agree totally with the gp22 sc project exhaust, i think it is something like £1600 here in England. My problem with the cost of it is the actual size and the amount of titanium used to manufacture it would cost probably £100 - £200. I would rather buy a cheap Chinese knockoff of that end can which is exactly what i did with the stealth mirrors, the mirrors look cool on the rsv4 but their function for visibility is poor and can actually cause a safety issue as i was looking too hard with elbows flapping up and down for too long to see what was behind me.

Oh I love made in Japan shit. They craft good stuff and are cost effective. Dollar for dollar performance on RS Taichi gear, Neopros tools, and all the other tools they're making. Other shit too, I'll check those Arata out.
I’ve been happy with my Leo Vince slip on on both my track CBR250R track and my Husqvarna street bike. The Husqvarna application is CA legal too. The CBR250R isn’t because the oe muffler is integrated with the catalyst converter, but it’s not a street bike anymore.
I got an SC Project full system for my CB650R, but I psie the exhaust 300 dollars 😁 The previous owner totaled the bike, it took me a total of 6 hours to restore it to mint condition. It’s a carbon fiber exhaust and I have to say that the quality I pretty good.
If you're in the UK (I assume they post internationally too) and want a stupid loud slipon exhaust for cheap, SP Engineering. They're good quality, they sound fantastic, and they're basically just a glasspack to smooth out the sound of a straight-through haha.
My 1st gen FZ09 came with a full Akrapovic carbon system when I bought it. The sound is intoxicating! I like the look of the SC's and Austin systems but as an audiophile, dont care for the sound.
I have a full titanium Graves exhaust system on my 2016 Yamaha FJ09. Its absolutely amazing and I love it. I have a 23 Yamaha XSR900. I wish Graves produced something for this bike, however they do not. I went with a full system from Yoshimura.
I got the scr OPEN 1/4 ? exhaust as it hooks to back peg hanger (i got specific exhaust hanger ) sc project cost 1047$ full race model = no mesh = fully open .. why because it went in sync with the uptune . Sc project works with company who does the uptune and the tune is perfect . sorry tuner name starts with g ( been up all night lol)Gabro up tune and cr-t rear peg mount = phenominal tune worth 1061$
Price is obviously excessive, but isn't representative. I paid £600 including delivery and import duties from Italy to UK for a titanium SC1-R slip-on for my '22 SDR. It's equally as well made as the Akrapovic I have on my Hypermotard. Both exhausts are beautiful and flawless. Customer service from SC was second to none.
1000% there's far better options for aprilia than the SC GP or CRT. I wouldn't say they suck quality wise, every one I've come across range wise has good looks and welds (welders always shit on other welds, look at any welding video lol). However, akra full systems, mivv full systems, Graves full systems shit even the SCR1 destroy any shorty pipe. I have a CRT strictly cause the noise is just perfection. If I'm chasing horsepower or going into competition if it isn't a SCR1, it's going to be another brand that builds a full exhaust system.
I don`t understand the hate at all. I think SC-Project exhausts are by far the most beautiful exhausts on the market. There is a video online from Meddes with his RSV4 and the SC Project ...that sound is just perfect in my opinion. But i guess thats just me since I dont like Akrapovic at all, they are ugly af, extremely expensive and the sound is not what I´m looking for. Regarding the Rizoma Stealth mirrors, I think they are the most beautiful mirrors on the market. The field of view may be subpar to other mirrors but i guess thats not the point. Performance and looks are 50/50 of importance for me. Leave the stock mirrors on if you want, but they look like shit. A hardcase on the back of the bike may also be very convenient but looks like shit. I can agree with the point, that it is a good idea to spend your money on training and gear, but after that....
You wouldn't understand the hate bc you think Akras are extremely expensive when they costs probably half of the SC ''slip on'' lol. You clearly the ones that business freaking loves, easy money for them!!!
I think it really depends on the bike. i agree that 2200 for a slip on is a rip off. i got an complete exhaust system from sc for 1200 for my honda cbr650r.
sc project pipe here in the Philippines are everywhere, you can see it on a Underbone Bike, Backbone Bike, even on some Streetbike Concepts you can see a SC Project Exhaust everywhere, and it's cheap also
Such an awesome channel the reviews are tops, agreed on SC flip it's a squid go to pipe. I definitely agree it's over hyped and technology in it I dunno, 90% of them are just straight through pipes.... No back pressure nothing. Like you said there are so many better pipes out there at half even quarter the price my MT10 runs a scorch and it's brilliant for quarter the price.
The Rizoma mirrors are ridiculous. That's why the "off-brand" stealth mirrors have blown up so much on Amazon in the past year or two. They have their own flaws, especially for $30-60 depending on which ones you buy. But you still get the same look, for the most part. And yeah, visibility is crap out of them, but would you rather spend $30 on crap, or $500? lol
Been riding for years and I've always shopped around for exhausts, being open to trying new styles. Now ive got a 22 R1 and rrwlly wanted the SC mid pipe and slip-on but its absolutely crazy money so i found a chinese copy called a KO Lightning. Looks the same, sounds awesome and cost me £170
Basic ebay knock-off would do the exact same. The only real differences in slip-ons is the length (Shorty v. Long). That said, Leo Vince, Graves, austin... all really great
i have a full system & headers from SC project and it sounds the best out of every exhaust i've had, but i also had my bike flashed and tuned by Moore Mafia
Everything you said I 💯 agree. I've gotten ridiculed over laying it on the hypebeast shit. I spend the money on me! Trackdays, schooling and high quality gear.
Sc project exhausts set up for gabro up tune and it gives you more power and runs smother/better . tip .. go with sc project crt model costs 1000$ looks phenominal sounds phenominal .
Check out Racefit Exhausts. They are based out of the UK. I had a few questions and customer service was very helpful answering my questions quickly. Received the exhaust within the week all the way from the UK. Full titanium and super nice welds. The Graves exhausts are nice too. They were basically the same price and I liked the styling in the Racefit for the types of exhaust made for my bike.
It's good quality, I like SC project exhausts but yeah $2,200 goddamn. Not that good, I'll buy a pocket bike for that. Or one of those whole summers of trackday, that's awesome man. I heard racefit is pretty good and comparable in design
TBH, I thought the same about Akrapovic but snagged a used one for cheap and I can see why they sell for a grand new. That said, 2k is full system money. Plus installation and ECU flash.
I'm getting a SC Project on my '23 Z900 although I am not buying it. Fortunately my brother purchased it for me as a Christmas gift otherwise I would not be getting one! I agree the price is a little absurd for just a slip on.. not to mention if you end up getting headers as well.
Tried them and kinda did not like the way they sounded on my previous motorcycles. As someone who does long rides, the sound wears you down. I mainly run Austin Racing, even if you have to wait months for them. New sub here ma mang!
As someone who worked for a really cool racing exhaust company i can say with 10000% certainty what is made for teams and whats sold to everyone else is completely different.
That being said, akrapovic is an OE manufacturer and will sell you great stuff. Yoshi is good too. But most of the other "race" brands are not selling you anything close.

That's one reason I don't like Yamaha 100%. You can't install slip ons...
I have a delkevic system (the cheapest full system) on my concours 14. I love it, it sounds great, made a difference in power, and best of all it did not break the bank.
Racefit fanboy here. I do have SC Project exhausts on my previous bikes and really liked them though.
Ran a full system on my R6...it was the bomb...sadly...sold off the bike...that was a big pain...
Speaking straight facts and some people are too insecure to hear it.
Nice honest review
Finally someone said it! But cant say the $20 sc project copies are bad, they’re everywhere here in the PH haha still sounds good enough 😅 “pwede na”
Another amazing video
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm getting a Graves full Titanium exhaust system on my 2023 Zx10R.... can't wait for cold weather to warm up so I can put it on.
Sweeet!
facts 😂 I even got the mirrors but more for looks cause I don't use the mirrors
Yeah I was sick of those gimmicky mirror trend look’s stupid and destroys the look of the bike… glad you pointed it out
dammed your so good keep it up adobo
Salamat!
Out of everyone I’ve watched in the motorcycle community from Harley guys to pure sports guys you’re my favorite dude. I really appreciate how real and brutally honest you are in the way you talk about things. I ride a Harley currently and have been wanting to get more into sports bikes for a while but had no clue where to start, your channel has been a goldmine of info🫡
sc project has all im looking for in an exhaust system, theyve got a cat system with major hp and torque improvement
Agree with you! Way too expensive, just like Akrapovic now. Arata are back in business. Look them up! They were the real OG back then. All made in Japan. 😍
I like akrapovic
@@adobomoto same, but the Akra header alone in TI for the S1KRR is $2500 CND. LOL I can get a fulll Hindle, forks and rear shock revalved to my weight for this. No thanks!
Oh I love made in Japan shit. They craft good stuff and are cost effective. Dollar for dollar performance on RS Taichi gear, Neopros tools, and all the other tools they're making. Other shit too, I'll check those Arata out.
@@ihateeverything3972 czcams.com/users/shortsRK8KE-zzHcc craftmanship and attention to details ! They only have a facebook page up so far.. man!
😮 damn , going hard at these overly priced manufacturers….!!! Very admirable sir 🫡
I’ve been happy with my Leo Vince slip on on both my track CBR250R track and my Husqvarna street bike. The Husqvarna application is CA legal too. The CBR250R isn’t because the oe muffler is integrated with the catalyst converter, but it’s not a street bike anymore.
Ouch I just ordered an SC Project S1, but tbh I fell in love with the sound.
New subscriber pare. Tang ina lupit mo hehe. Keep up the good work pre
I got an SC Project full system for my CB650R, but I psie the exhaust 300 dollars 😁
The previous owner totaled the bike, it took me a total of 6 hours to restore it to mint condition.
It’s a carbon fiber exhaust and I have to say that the quality I pretty good.
spot on
If you're in the UK (I assume they post internationally too) and want a stupid loud slipon exhaust for cheap, SP Engineering. They're good quality, they sound fantastic, and they're basically just a glasspack to smooth out the sound of a straight-through haha.
I agree witht the sc and super agree on the stealth mirrors..
New to your channel but I agree 100%!
I paid 300 USD for my Leo Vince slip on for my SD evo…
I think it really depends on the bike. i agree that 2200 for a slip on is a rip off. i got an complete exhaust system from sc for 1200 for my honda cbr650r.
love the content, sir. would like to see you with some 🍗 Adobo in the future
Have a bunch of cooking content on my tiktok
Can you do a vid that covers everything that must be done to upgrade the oem silencer on 21+ tuono v4 1100 factory bikes?
I'm perfectly content with the m4 slip on that I have on my z900. SC pops and crackles a bit too much for me and would get annoying after a while 🤷
Sound advice for anyone looking to get into motovlogging 🙌
sc project pipe here in the Philippines are everywhere, you can see it on a Underbone Bike, Backbone Bike, even on some Streetbike Concepts you can see a SC Project Exhaust everywhere, and it's cheap also
Such an awesome channel the reviews are tops, agreed on SC flip it's a squid go to pipe. I definitely agree it's over hyped and technology in it I dunno, 90% of them are just straight through pipes.... No back pressure nothing. Like you said there are so many better pipes out there at half even quarter the price my MT10 runs a scorch and it's brilliant for quarter the price.
I did a cheap Black widow decat and called it a day 😆. Best $135 ever
Good advice 👍Graves for my mt10..
best sounding pipe for the cross plane imo
The Rizoma mirrors are ridiculous. That's why the "off-brand" stealth mirrors have blown up so much on Amazon in the past year or two. They have their own flaws, especially for $30-60 depending on which ones you buy. But you still get the same look, for the most part. And yeah, visibility is crap out of them, but would you rather spend $30 on crap, or $500? lol
they sell an XL size for the fake wing mirrors and surprisingly the visibility is really good
I kinda agree with the stealth mirrors you might as well buy amazon ones or remove your mirrors
I saw some! they look exactly the same!
I want your opinion about other alternate choice then akrapovic exhaust? Is Austin Racing same quality as SC project?
Been riding for years and I've always shopped around for exhausts, being open to trying new styles.
Now ive got a 22 R1 and rrwlly wanted the SC mid pipe and slip-on but its absolutely crazy money so i found a chinese copy called a KO Lightning. Looks the same, sounds awesome and cost me £170
I’ve never liked them but I quickly noticed how popular they are
Basic ebay knock-off would do the exact same. The only real differences in slip-ons is the length (Shorty v. Long).
That said, Leo Vince, Graves, austin... all really great
Ngl, Grave exhaust sounds fvcking good!👀🖤
I love graves
@@adobomoto Mismo!
i have a full system & headers from SC project and it sounds the best out of every exhaust i've had, but i also had my bike flashed and tuned by Moore Mafia
Agree 100%
100000% on point ……I like you already
Rocking a Dominator exhaust on my 21 mt09. Exhaust is just as good as an Akra in terms of quality of welds and fitment.
I thought I was crazy..... Right on! Thnx!
Everything you said I 💯 agree. I've gotten ridiculed over laying it on the hypebeast shit. I spend the money on me! Trackdays, schooling and high quality gear.
these are just my thoughts...people can buy what they want lol. but yeah, not about that life
Sc project exhausts set up for gabro up tune and it gives you more power and runs smother/better . tip .. go with sc project crt model costs 1000$ looks phenominal sounds phenominal .
Agree with the rizoma stealth mirror 😂
Totally agree with everything you have said. Yoshimura is also a great affordable exhaust. Lol the mirrors are crap 💩 😂.
That’s my favorite slip on for the r6.
@@adobomoto Nice! I have it on my CBR1000RR. It gives it a nice growl presence.
It's good quality, I like SC project exhausts but yeah $2,200 goddamn. Not that good, I'll buy a pocket bike for that.
Or one of those whole summers of trackday, that's awesome man.
I heard racefit is pretty good and comparable in design
Magiging successful ka idol. Nararamdman kopo. Keep up lang ng uploads. 😎
Salamat
FACTS 💯
Having you as a college professor would be amazing
Graves has been the top of my list for my Tuono.
TBH, I thought the same about Akrapovic but snagged a used one for cheap and I can see why they sell for a grand new.
That said, 2k is full system money. Plus installation and ECU flash.
The rest of the lineup price wise isn’t that bad compared to some others
Pare new subscriber here.. watching firm Las Vegas
I'm getting a SC Project on my '23 Z900 although I am not buying it. Fortunately my brother purchased it for me as a Christmas gift otherwise I would not be getting one! I agree the price is a little absurd for just a slip on.. not to mention if you end up getting headers as well.
lucky...I'd rather get a full graves lol. I used to have a z800, great bikes
yeah, subscribed after this
Sc project slip on exhaust on my dads Rsv4 tuono 1100 factory is best sounding bike I’ve ever heard. If you got the money, go for it
Tried them and kinda did not like the way they sounded on my previous motorcycles. As someone who does long rides, the sound wears you down. I mainly run Austin Racing, even if you have to wait months for them. New sub here ma mang!
Thanks for sharing
As someone who worked for a really cool racing exhaust company i can say with 10000% certainty what is made for teams and whats sold to everyone else is completely different.
That being said, akrapovic is an OE manufacturer and will sell you great stuff. Yoshi is good too. But most of the other "race" brands are not selling you anything close.
Let me think 🤔.Yeah he makes sense.SUBSCRIBED
