DECLARE FAITH
1. Simple Obedience (v. 4)
- You may have many questions, you may feel incapable, or it just might not make sense but my word for you today is to “simply obey to the word of the Lord.
2. Look and Listen For God (vs. 6-7)
- Look for God, He will appear and listen for God, He will confirm.
3. Build An Altar (v. 7a)
- Build an altar and plant your flag.
4. Call Upon The Name of the Lord (v. 8)
DECLARE FEAR
1. Forget to Seek God (v. 10)
-Though circumstances seem dire, don’t forget to seek God first.
2. Self Preservation Over God’s Protection (vs. 11-13)
- Self preservation is rooted in fear.
3. Self Preservation Over God’s Provision (vs. 14-16)
- Self preservation in unrighteous gain.
Summary:
The decision is ours and we must make up our minds:
- We will either choose to be a people of faith or fear.
- When we choose faith we reclaim the promises of God through our worship and obedience to Him.
- When we choose fear we forget God, His protection and provision.
- God’s response to fear is to call us out, get them out, and kick us out.
