Chris, you are truly missed and loved! Wish I could have met him 💕
This one was the biggest shock to me and most heartbreaking 💔 I loved that beautiful voice for so many decades, it was so raw, so emotional, when I listen to hunger strike and his vocal turns, even in the original video, it still makes me cry, that voice! This was such an utter shock, I had to catch my breath when I heard it on the radio that morning, I know most of the time when someone takes their own life, it usually is such a buildup, I’ve went over the bodyguard’s statements so many times, how he was annoyed his Apple TV and laptop weren’t working, how the bodyguard called the hotel IT personal to come connect them to WIFI, how he talked to his wife on the phone and seemed semi normal, but started messing with their house lighting system from his phone, annoying his wife, how as a recovering addict with so much time under his belt, how his bodyguard kept his Ativan anxiety meds, and doled them out to him when he was ready to sleep, he’d given him only 2 of the anti anxiety pills, which is a very low therapeutic dose, and in those 13 minutes, he just DID IT, I don’t understand why he even had his mountain climbing harness with him on that trip. I’m so curious to know what exactly happened in mere minutes that he went to that extreme so fast, his postmortem showed he was in excellent shape especially for a man at 52, his body was decades younger, no evidence of even plaque build up in the arteries to his heart, physically he was in amazing shape, the tox report that came back was so clean, nothing out of the norm, he definitely hasn’t relapsed, the attempts to save him should have been successful because so little time, mere minutes had passed, it wasn’t an instant long drop, or even a drop, just a slow, painful strangulation by hanging from the side of the bathroom door, absolutely no food in his system, he was dressed for bed, I know it’s never going to make sense, but this one just really makes no sense, he was happy and loved/adored his children, watching them grow, he loved his wife, he did have congestion and a cold, but his interactions with the crowd that night were full of love and positivity, his bodyguard walks him across the street to their rooms at the MGM, a few fans spotted him, he was happy, excited to sign autographs and chat, and by 11:35pm he’s in emergency distress. So random, so fast after a show, so early in the night. I’ve read hundreds of autopsies for my classes many years ago, his, the scenario makes zero sense, I am not into ANY weird conspiracies but I just wonder what the hell happened in the 13 missing minutes of his laptop/apple tv being hooked up, his bodyguard leaving his room for the night and his wife suddenly calling to tell the bodyguard to go kick the door down, that he wasn’t making verbal sense to her on the phone, started messing with the lights, stopped answering to her calls and texts. He was beautiful inside and out, his grave at Hollywood Forever is beautiful and well maintained, it just took the wind out of me the first time I saw it and read his name, like “he’s really gone, I don’t know why, but he’s gone but here, in this beautiful spot, with the peaceful sounds of the pond, the waterfall, all the damn cats that call this huge cemetery home.” I had a long peaceful moment crying and brushing off his marker, left a small painted pebble and just had to leave. Such a beautiful voice and person💔
Does sound strange,,,,, maybe,, he just wasn't with the "program",,,, nevertheless, he was a one of a kind musical artist,,, and he will live forever in his music and our minds & hearts..
I was heartbroken seeing that performance, I was fortunate to catch two of his solo shows and he was amazing as always. Very sad for his family and band mates and fans because who didn’t Love this guy??? Who? Writing and Voice touched everyone s soul. I was so happy to show him a tattoo of Soundgarden.
He did not forget lyrics, sing out or sync, and the band did not "vamp". Slaves and Bulldozers was always jammed on. The first song "Ugly Truth" started shaky on the first line. In Spoonman, he sang "all my friends in Michigan" He was trying to have fun. He told the crowd to stand up and that he could see them. He was under stress.
you know he gave us years of music. Music is way of communication. He was tellin us for years there was a battle he was needing help with. though too many seemed to focus on the words and not the vibe of necessity. This is how we lose loved ones. By not paying attention to the greater message. Some of us try to convey it, but too many tend to disregard it until the time is too late to act. I'm sorry Chris. the world treated you badly at times, and you tried to tell us. Though many did not listen or understand. 1000% agree with you. Benzodiazepines caused this, the irresponsible doctor prescribing and the ruthless Big Pharmaceutical industry are to blame. They have Chris’s blood on their hands and many others fallen to benzo crisis. It is the same with antidepressants- only recently are they acknowledging this problem with antidepressants too - will be another 10 years or 20 years till antidepressants become controlled drugs just like Benzos. That's the thing. Strong voices get silenced before anyone gets a full picture. It's possible. That's possible. Were he and Chester working to expose ch8ld trafficking? nothing I can prove. Usually when people are silenced this way, it's certainly rooted in evil. The pattern is usually children or Pharmaceutical whistleblowers. @@brandenMAN209
Then the very next day, Grant Hart, drummer for Hüsker Dü, died from cancer. One of Chris Cornell's favorite bands. They played their first show with them .
Man this was the greatest singer of our time and once again taken out by addiction. I battle this every single day and I win. But it could end tomorrow if I’m not on my toes.
I believe whoever gave him the Migraine medicine that night should be questioned. I understand he was suffering as I do as well and am prescribed that same extra medicine he had in his system. It makes you extremely drowsy and is a barbiturate.. It could explain a lot of what we were seeing that night.
I believe he used again after years of sobriety. But instead of being the young kid who could handle it he experienced something very different in his older body and he knew he couldn't resist the temptation but simply did not want to repeat that story again. Such a devastating loss. Of both of these brilliant artists.
I was following them on Twitter during their world tour, I wanted to see them back in 2014, and I was so excited to see them live. I would do anything to see them live, I wish I could have gone to the 2014 but I had strict parents and they told me I can’t go unless I went with someone 💔
Just outside of Detroit there was an island called “fox island.” It was an elite PDF FILE island. He played is last show a was killed at “Fox theatre.” He was actively speaking out against elite pdf files when he was killed
I grew up with listening to sound garden so much still hard for me to know he's gone if you want to remember him more listen to his song "tighter & tighter" .
We were supposed to see soundgarden that weekend (i think it was the 19th/20th) somewhere around there at columbus ohio for rock on the range. We literally heard the day we were driving from ny to the hotel in ohio. It was wild
My friend saw them a year or so before Cornell died and said the band pretty much mailed it in at the show. That's always disappointing. Drugs are bad.
I started playing guitar when I was in 8th grade shortly after Casino Royale came out. His theme for that was amazing. I was always a fan of the James Bond movies and the music. His song is definitely one of the best I had heard and inspired me to play music. That was in 2006 and over the course of the next 2 years I got into soundgarden, Audioslave etc. I followed every release he did, even Scream which obviously was off-kilter from my taste but that guy probably could have took a dump in a trumpet and recorded himself playing it and I probably would have thought it genius. He was the man. I still have an old laptop where the background screen is a picture of Jesus with a bunch of disciples except it's Chris Cornell's face shittily photoshopped on to jesus's. Then in 2010 when Soundgarden reunited I thought it was too good to be true because of all of his work, Soundgarden was my favorite. I thoroughly enjoyed King animal, especially the song halfway there. Higher truth was an incredible album. Temple of the Dog is legitimately a sacred piece of artwork to me. I think the favorite song of mine he ever wrote was Say Hello 2 Heaven. Personally I think his death had something to do with benzodiazepines. I'm sure there are facts we do not know. He may have had some latent suicidality. All I know is benzos are no joke. I work in mental health as my profession and I find that many of the difficult cases I work with involve benzodiazepines. I think he may have not been lying when he texted his wife that he took too much. I think he may have been in some sort of stupor similarly to how people take Ambien or even Sleepwalk naturally and cook meals drive cars or whatever. I know benzos can contribute to those sorts of blackouts but also mess with emotions he may have found himself in some sort of state that bought into some of his lyrical themes. But I really have no idea it's just kind of a theory
This is how we treat people we judge them by their deeds 🎉 and when one man or one woman just can't do their part you guys go and pick them apart. Nicely done😢
I was set to see him the following night. I had tickets to see ozzy a couple nights before randy died, I had tickets to see Steve ray Vaughan. Before he died never got to see any of them

My replies always get deleted. You tube sucks
when people disappear, Its one of 2 evils. The exposing of exploiting innocence or a pharma cueti cal whistleblower.
Then the very next day, Grant Hart, drummer for Hüsker Dü, died from cancer. One of Chris Cornell's favorite bands. They played their first show with them .
God I love his voice and music!!! Gone far too soon!
Man this was the greatest singer of our time and once again taken out by addiction. I battle this every single day and I win. But it could end tomorrow if I’m not on my toes.
Absolute god on the mic
I can not believe this man is gone ,,especially the way he went.
I knew so little of that fateful night, thank you
Yeah. A hit job has many hands… I wholly believe. 😢😎
💯
Take your tinfoil hat off
I love Chris Cornell
I'm gonna cry!!😢😢😢
He found it , he knew that they knew. He had no exit.
Sure.
He knew they were coming for him
Dang I was truly moved when I heard he died he had one of the most unique voices of that genre
No one could sing like chris hands down the best
❤ Miss and love You Cornell ❤
Please 🙏 god , this man deserves heaven let him in to your kingdom . Amen 🙏
I believe whoever gave him the Migraine medicine that night should be questioned.
I understand he was suffering as I do as well and am prescribed that same extra medicine he had in his system. It makes you extremely drowsy and is a barbiturate..
It could explain a lot of what we were seeing that night.
RIP love your music 🎵
I believe he used again after years of sobriety. But instead of being the young kid who could handle it he experienced something very different in his older body and he knew he couldn't resist the temptation but simply did not want to repeat that story again. Such a devastating loss. Of both of these brilliant artists.
I remember the first time seeing them back in 91 and the performance was just like that too.
Saw him with Audioslave. One of the best live vocals ever. He was such a beautiful soul.
I was following them on Twitter during their world tour, I wanted to see them back in 2014, and I was so excited to see them live. I would do anything to see them live, I wish I could have gone to the 2014 but I had strict parents and they told me I can’t go unless I went with someone 💔
I got to see this tour. At the fourum in Los Angeles. Mars Volta opened for them. No one will ever know what he was going through. RIP Chris !
Forever Chris Cornell 🤟😢💔
Just outside of Detroit there was an island called “fox island.” It was an elite PDF FILE island. He played is last show a was killed at “Fox theatre.” He was actively speaking out against elite pdf files when he was killed
😢😢😢😢 his memory keeps me on the mic, hell, he’s the reason why I feel more in love with singing…
I grew up with listening to sound garden so much still hard for me to know he's gone if you want to remember him more listen to his song "tighter & tighter" .
Miss you my man gone way too soon 😢
I told Chris Cornell I didn't want his autograph.
1991
I'm sorry I missed being a good friend
We were supposed to see soundgarden that weekend (i think it was the 19th/20th) somewhere around there at columbus ohio for rock on the range. We literally heard the day we were driving from ny to the hotel in ohio. It was wild
He probably knew he was going to be 🔪💀
My friend saw them a year or so before Cornell died and said the band pretty much mailed it in at the show. That's always disappointing. Drugs are bad.
Yay. My Love. ❤❤❤ He knew his time was short. My Love❤❤❤
Chris told me once he felt like he had said everything he had to say in this life. I always felt like he had checked out since then. Miss his voice.
I died a little that day
I started playing guitar when I was in 8th grade shortly after Casino Royale came out.
I was there and the gig had a weird vibe.
He didn't kill himself... Nor did Avicii
Ty
Omg i loved chris.wish he was here.R.I.P brother
I love this man but how can people blame his wife when clearly he is displaying that he is tired of feeling pain. R.I.P. Chris
I was set to see him the following night. I had tickets to see ozzy a couple nights before randy died, I had tickets to see Steve ray Vaughan. Before he died never got to see any of them
