It causes your skin to be more sensitive in the sun, which can actually have an opposite effect because sun damage is the biggest cause of pigmentation so if the retinol is causing sensitivity then you’re more likely to get sun damage which in turn will cause pigmentation, so just be careful hunny. Always use an SPF which I know you do, but best off covering your beautiful face! ❤️
