I think you've read the achievement description wrong. You were supposed to build a train in first 90 minutes of game, not complete Factorio.... Regardless, great run!

The circuit network stuff is to prevent the assemblers from buffering ingredients, since the ingredients themselves are limited. This helps increase production rate of RCUs.

It’s to announce a split time (like from running track). It marks completion of a task, which is shown at upper left and let’s him gauge his progress on the fly.
That way as the builder bots start building everything they bring over a second roboport to double the recharge rate of the workforce. You can bottleneck very quickly recharging the bots

Yeah always keep a buffer of gear/green circuits, because they're the things that are annoyingly long when you craft things yourself.

Forgive my ignorance of factorio speed runs, what does any% mean in the context of factorio? Mods?
Any% is free choice of map settings, set seed, disable biters etc. No mods, no importing blueprints.
