FORD Rear Drum Brake Removal - Fiesta Rear Brakes

  • In this tutorial I show you how to remove the rear brake drum from a Fiesta WITHOUT undoing the wheel bearing from it’s shaft. This is actually the way Ford recommend it to be done on a whole host of cars (such as Fiesta, Escort, Puma and more).
    For some reason though, aftermarket service manuals instruct to remove the bearing. I’ve even known garages do it by undoing the bearing. Doing it like that risks damaging the bearing. Follow this video and you remove that risk and it’s much easier too.

    You’d like to think brake cleaner is brake cleaner! But this is about the best I’ve used and with an excellent strong jet spray. And great value here if you buy in quantity. Normfest MC-1 brake cleaner
