So true,!! The wilderness will humble you, expose the state of your heart but also God uses it to make you draw closer to Him, trust him more, depend on Him more, and produce fruit that makes you never to stumble or be unproductive. The promise is already waiting for us, God uses the season to prepare us for that promise. I used to lament when i enter a waiting season but God opened my eyes to see past the pain into the beauty of the wilderness. Now I thank Him for it❤️

This was an amazing discussion. I am currently in the wilderness and have been since the start if this year. This has been the toughest year of my entire life. My life has completely changed drastically. I have had faith for a long time and this is the first time in my life that God has full control over it. I am trying to embrace this season I am in. I see some light at the end of the tunnel but it is brutal getting there mentally and physically So many uncertainties along the way. My health is good overall but eveything else has been destroyed. I did drop to 145 lbs from 165 in the last 2 years I am constantly clinging on and staying motivated by podcasts on testimony from people who have endured a trial from God. Studied Moses's story at a deeper level as well as Joseph and some King David. It does help. When i am worried about an upcoming situation, God does pull through with an answer when that time comes which proves to me that the worrying was a waste of time and to continue trusting him. A few more hurdles i have to deal with and i sense that the end of it is near but i still see new problems along the way which sometjmes discourages me.
I am going though it right now. It is so tough and hard and you feel like giving up because it can be overwhelming, I question , I ask why this and that , why me, and all of this can make you angry .. but something in my spirit tells me to be still , keep your faith, it’s just a test of your faith and strength, and now I realizing how humbling it all is, how it opens your heart, but I’m not gonna lie it beyond tough but I tell myself once you make it out, once you see the light it gonna be a WOW MOMENT.
A timely discussion indeed. God shows us the end from the beginning and then takes us back to the begining to work the the land, just like He did with Abraham. We also need to realise that as Children of God, every season is our season (the good, bad and ugly). We don't get to choose the glamorous part of worshipping God as our only season. Wow. To think I've been reminding myself lately that I shouldn't allow my environment affect my spiritual life. Living in Canada can make you feel life you have things all figured out. Thanks for fleshing out this word. Also, you're both spot on with saying the wilderness experience is necessary for every believer. Going through my own wilderness makes me appreciate some things more than ever. God bless you and your guest.
Why do I feel like this is CZcams shorts😅 Can’t wait for next episode Just the way you won’t get registered in a school or for a course and get your certificate till you’re qualified, that’s how God won’t crown you till you qualify according to his terms, and sweet thing is that he’ll be patient enough to teach you till you qualify ❤️

When is it gono end? I promised not to cry anymore but I did again this morning 🥲 am tired, am so tired but no turning back tho, I told God you love to see me surfer? I know you can change things but you don't want to, what offence did I commit, chosing your part ? Just like you said, if I have seen today before I start this journey, I for no start am at all no matter what unless na inside fish him wan come carry me from o, but now no turning back tho, I can't suffer all this years for nothing, and am not repeating any class either so by his grace we shall reach there 🙏
@@wambui28 my dear sister I asked him all that too 😁 but I realised is the price we all have to pay to make it to the kingdom, remember when JESUS was going tru hard time knowing they will soon come and kill him and he didn't know what to do, he will leave his diciples go somewhere and cry, even tell God that if it is possible he should take the cut away but not his will but let the will of God be done, he knew he had to pass tru all that so he stayed strong, and today he is the Lord or Lords, that is what we should do my dear, remain strong and let the will of God be done. May the Lord give us the grace to remain strong 💪 🙏

I've wrestled with this. I feel like I have cried enough. I told God I am not Job. I can still love you but do I really have to go through all this?
