I lost my beloved job two months ago due to this pandemic. Debts unpaid, monthly bills piling up, can't provide kids' needs. I felt sad but didn't lost my faith. I kept praying. I trusted Him for i know that His plans are always for our best. Miraculously, last Monday I got hired on a job which I didn't even applied for. And believe me it is a much better job than what I've lost.

I was fired from my job in January, I was so sad and few months later the pandemic hit and I believe that God wanted me to spend the quarantine at home with family. Later I found out the people in my team had been laid off, God sent me home sooner. I still haven’t found a job, but I am hopeful that God has bigger plans for me.

My testimony! So a month ago my account had in 5 cents , I had no money , no food , a single mother of 1 with no help from my child’s father . Every door I tried said no , crying and praying night after night not knowing how I will get through, my business is temporarily closed and I don’t even know how I’m going to reopen . One morning I got a call about a deal and had 2k in my hand that same morning ... a blessing , I praised God and cried, I was able to buy food and buy my son’s school necessities. Thank you God ! I still need to reopen my store but I’m leaning not on my own understanding , weapons will form but they will not prosper , my faith is greater than ever because I have seen the mercy of the lord . I’m here because of God’s favor .

A lot of my friends discount joel's preaching. All I know is that I received the healing from this message. My sister's life changed after attending Lakewood for a year and I don't care what people say. He preaches Jesus , hope , mercy and love and I believe God is all those things.

Hi, sometimes I have thought that nothing is working on my life, my mom passed away two months ago, my married is so dry and without any expectation, my financial situation is really bad, I live in Venezuela and to live here is up hill, my husband is an asperger man with explosives moments because on his condition and my daughters are also asperger , some times I have said God it is too much to bear, I don't know how to continue forward, and when I have heard God'word through Pastor Joel is a sensation like you are too thirsty and someone give you a lot of fresh water.

What is sinister is the contorting of the Gospel message from being God-glorifying first and foremost to self-glorification which is central to every message I've heard from Joel. There's also a strikingly low amount of reference to scripture and the context he quotes from.
Take the description of this video for instance "You may not see it yet, but He's going to work everything out in your favor.
" - the gospel is not about glorifying God to enjoy what God gives us (something this man constantly preaches), but to glorify God and enjoy God forever - not simply because of what he gives us, not with the assumption we will prosper in the way Joel infers often (money, career etc) but because he is God.
Putting the emphasis on self prospering when speaking about worshipping God will not bring about the self-abandonment the bible calls us to.

Peter Kent, I agree with you! I grew up Christian in a southern baptist church. I always followed God. However, my relationship with God and trust in Him dramatically deepened when I started applying the principles I learned from Joel! I took on life with more confidence and boldness. How can that be bad?
Thanks to applying these principles, I started hearing God speak to me. He even warned me about a fatal car accident to come. I prayed against it, randomly chose a Joel message to listen to, and it was all about people who were supposed to die but didn’t, and later that year, the car accident “almost” happened. The second before it happened, I had total and complete peace knowing God was with me-I trusted whatever He was going to allow to happen. The car basically vaporized and went right through me. The other truck who should have also been hit freaked out and chased the car with his lights flashing that went through us for as long as I could see. I think he must have thought it was an alien or something, but I knew it was a miracle from God! Applying the principles I learned from Joel may have saved my life.
He encourages everyone to find a bible based church at the end of every message. He doesn’t proclaim to be the only pastor everyone should listen to.
He gives God SO much glory by alllways trusting in Him, no matter what, and encouraging others to do the same. His faith and trust in God, as a good God, is amazing.

2023, the message is still hitting home, I'm battling with the state of new Mexico for my handicap mother, they rather have her in a home instead of mine, Ive been lied to, falsely charged, treated like dirt by the same people I'm suppose to receive help from😡, I'm building my relationship with God and I've been running for 23yrs, going around the mountain like Moses and the Israelites for 40yrs, I thank him he didn't let me die in my sins, he gave me a chance to make it right💯💪🙏
I was in a car accident in 2018 and had to stop working as a Registered Nurse due to chronic pain. This sickness is still here for 21 months and everyday I’m trying to get better. I’m praying to heal and see a good future. Two weeks ago I applied for the MSN FNP program at five schools. Days ago I found out I got accepted into the MSN FNP Program at Georgetown University! I thought my career was over and didn’t understand what God was trying to do. I was depressed and crying for God’s mercy. Today I feel better. I see part of his plan! I still have pain but it is manageable with physical therapy, pain medications, and massage. I will heal one day. I’m so happy and pray that I pass all my tests in FNP school. I want to help many people through God’s grace. God is good! 💜🙏🏼

The individual who has put his trust in Jesus Christ as his Savior is in personal fellowship with Him all the time. The eternal purpose of God in Jesus Christ is to give us this new relationship with God (John 3:16; 6:37, 39; 2 Corinthians 5:14-21).
I developed serious health issues basically from one moment to another. Totally unexpected. These last two months since becoming sick it hasn't been easy. I try to be positive of course but it's not easy to get by daily. I stay strong for my kids and my grandkids over everything. I'm not able to work until I am cleared by a doctor which I'll be seeing in a week now that I was able to get affordable insurance. Joel Osteen's messages help me a lot. It comforts me. Prayers needed for me and my family. Thank you so much and I also pray for anyone going through a bad moment 🙏🏼

The other day I was blindsided and lost my job as a Police Officer of 13 years. I am not worried. I realize that Gods purpose for my life is just in a different department. My Dad has Renal failure, he has been under going dialysis. He has been slowly losing hope cause of so much pressure to afford his dialysis treatments. It pains me to watch him so sad and depressed. I pray that God uses this to bring him closer to him. I dont know God's plan but I will choose to believe in him.

I want you to know that I've listened to Joel Osteen for a while now. No one is perfect however Our God has used Joel to help me stay positive during some very difficult times. Joel is ALWAYS POSITIVE, ENCOURAGING, UPLIFTING...I've read the Word for many years, but God used Joel to reveal scriptures and to increase my Wisdom and Understanding of Our God's Word and His intentions for us. (Ive never commented on Joel's videos, but I should have). Joel is DEFINITELY one of Our God's Lights. So sorry for your loss Glenn! This is probably one of those most painful things you may never really fully understand....but God is still on the throne and His plans for us are good. He knows you & your daughter by name, even before she was formed in your womb. None of this took God by surprise.

I am watching this video on July 17, 2023 - 2 years after it was posted. It's late afternoon. Well over half the day has passed and I didn't think I'd make it out of bed today. I'm going to exercise faith and get out of bed. Even if it's for 20 minutes. Getting out of bed will be my act of faith. It's the size of a mustard seed but the Word of God promises that's enough.
