Instrumental here: • Buddy Holly - Jazz Ins... Instrumental made by me from scratch. Frank Sinatra AI made with RVC (crepe format) Fun little experiment, might do more... idk
Instrumental is here for those that wanted it: czcams.com/video/hTgYC4edm2s/video.html I appreciate the nice comments and the constructive criticism, thanks guys!
Holy shit the instrumental is amazing, never knew how good this could sound laid back and jazzy. The Frank Sinatra AI is pretty funny to, loved how you added little bits of character like when he says "One more time." near the end. I wonder how well The Sweater Song would work like this, maybe you could even do a buddy holly for that one.
You can definitely hear where AI falls short of emulation, which means that it'll never replace original artists, but it's still impressive what our technology can actually do nowadays.
@@iancsc I've been using Photoshop for two decades now and it's been around for about three decades total. Everything "Photoshopped" still looks "Photoshopped." Every technology plateaus. It's the nature of everything in life. Nothing improves infinitely. Everything has its limits and its own lane. Thus why no technology can ever truly replace human skill and ingenuity. Also, today's "AI" isn't even truly "AI." Machine Learning (ML) is a related field in the world of "AI," but there's truly no such thing as true "AI," yet--if truly ever. True AI is a promise of true artificial autonomy, if not, attempts at artificial consciousness itself. Machine Learning is more like a fancy mirror of what humans already create. @@ganglians Nah, they said the same thing about procedural generation. Most people talking about "AI" truly have no idea what they're talking about. Just secondhand guessing and fearmongering. Real programmers know that there are inherent limitations to even the best programming. While the novelty of generative AI was mind-blowing to many at first, people are already getting used to spotting "that AI look." Similar to how I just pointed out how I can tell this song was "AI" but it's a decent emulation. That's all it takes. As technology improves, humans adapt to recognizing it. Same way we can now point out something as "Photoshopped," even 30 years later. All technology hits that certain plateau and "AI" won't be exempt.
Definitely do more, i didn't subscribe for nothin'! With stuff like this, so you sing the song, and then add the voice profile? Sounds really good! Great instrumental track also!
Thank you! That's exactly the way to do it; kinda like putting on a rubber glove, the AI 'flexes' over the original voice. Here's the instrumental if you wanted to listen to that on it's own: czcams.com/video/hTgYC4edm2s/video.html Thank you for the nice comment :D
I think if you went lower with the "ooh wee ooh" 's, more Sinatra style, it would be better. Less Sinatra trying to sound like Weezer and more like Sinatra being Sinatra. More "loungey". He sounds more like David Byrne from talking heads
Yeah... I'm not a vocalist so I tried my best to match the tone and autotune it a bit but judging by the comments I didn't do a very good job. Ig I'll just stick to the instrumental part :(

Kinda surprised it wasn’t the obvious choice, tbh
This is criminally underrated. It has been rent free in my brain since it came out. I'm not kidding.

As a fellow virgin, I agree!
If you see this you have to listen to raditude (hehehe ha)
It's such shame Weezer only ever made one album then disappeared without trace

Today is the worst AI will ever be. And so on

Frank makin me cry with this one fr
the thought of this popped into my head and I wondered if it's been done before and well here I am now.
Lol that piano guitar riff is so cursed when youve heard buddy holly so many times (in a good way)
Heh, I remember this song from the original Windows 95 CD. The video was was awesome for the time.
Mate I did a double take when I saw this in my recommended.
Now make Buddy Holly sing Buddy Holly
The funniest part is that Sinatra was contemporary to Buddy Holly
Definitely do more, i didn't subscribe for nothin'!

Thank you for the nice comment :D
It's like they brought the dead back to life 😮
he sounds like his tongue is attached with a bit of glue and 4mm of tape
We live in both a very depressing and very fun time. This is neat.
I Collect Frank Sinatra CDs, & i Wish this was on my CDs
How does this only have 60k views?
nonono
we need
the ACTUAL Buddy Holly (Charles Hardin Holley)
to sing Buddy Holly
Any chance you can upload the instrumental? I need to sing this at karaoke night!!!!
czcams.com/video/hTgYC4edm2s/video.html
Here's the instrumental!
I have the same terrible range as Sinatra and I can confirm - it would sound just like this if he really did it
damn music was discovered 1 month ago
How about some Frankie sings the Ramones?
Let's get a micheal jackson cover of this
INSTRUMENTAL IS AMAZING WONDERFULLY DONE! Did you post it stand alone?
czcams.com/video/hTgYC4edm2s/video.html
sorry for the wait, here's the instrumental
Chorus sounds like me at the karaoke bar.
Ive never heard Frank Sinatra before, so these AI covers are my first impressions.
Why does it work??? 😅
“I don’t care about that!” 🤣
Can you make him sing El Scorcho?
mixcraft?
We could of had Seth McFarlane do this
Nice AI training! This sounds too much like the real thing lmao
I think if you went lower with the "ooh wee ooh" 's, more Sinatra style, it would be better. Less Sinatra trying to sound like Weezer and more like Sinatra being Sinatra. More "loungey". He sounds more like David Byrne from talking heads
lord have mercy I've been laughing my inside out for minutes 😭😭
Eh we already have a Richard Cheese cover
sounds drunk
a little flat. need some adjustments and would be great
Yeah... I'm not a vocalist so I tried my best to match the tone and autotune it a bit but judging by the comments I didn't do a very good job. Ig I'll just stick to the instrumental part :(
@@dannyrockwell3215 oh im sorry im not trying to be discouraging. just some tips for improvement yk?
@@mariarusso4385 I appreciate the feedback! Thank you for being so polite c:
@@dannyrockwell3215 if you want to send the instrumental my way i sing in this style a lot
this is what plays when neckbeard incels wear a fedora and that ugly "dress jacket with graphic tshirt underneath" combo.
I can’t stop. Hearing Sinatra sing songs that were mediocre at best when they came out is blowing me away. I love it.
Mediocre at best??? This is one of the best songs of the 90s.
@@jonasmaya941a very mediocre decade
@@misterknightowlandco I think you have a typo. Surely you meant, one of the best decades for music in history…
