Rohr Nursery- Planting a floating island for your pond

Miracle grow if you like green water. With one floating island and that garbage I have ruined my water quality. It is week three after my miracle grow mistake and I'm still struggling with algae .

What's the best way of anchoring these floating planters so that they don't free float around the pond?

i have no idea @@woodshopdesignco.6760 , but I thought they did not need such a nutrient rich substrate, perhaps gravel?
