    Thanks for the video. I ended up using a grinding wheel and made a small cut at the bottom of each bracket so I could slip the turn signal wires through without dissembling the headlight. Used a little bit of flat black paint to clean up the brackets and everything went together perfectly. I figured it would make it a much faster process if I wanted to take off the fly screen later.

    Good view of the yellow switched/fused accessory plug.

      @Paul Messenger Thanks for pointing that out. I actually didn't mention it in the video. Good for people to know. Including myself. Thanks for watching.

      @Me And My Royal Enfield I had another channel I don't mess with much. So, yes I have some experience in video. I am actually the A/V Production and Technical Specialist at The University of West Florida but I do mostly audio. My degree is in Audio Engineering. Glad you like it.

    Looks great. I want to get the Super Meteor 650 when they go on sale here in the USA. I hope they will have this accessory for it as well. I think it looks great.

    Cheers mate! Clear and simple. My only problem was that Devil's work, that negative battery terminal!😆

    • @my-enfield612
      @my-enfield612  Před rokem

      @Carl Gustav1875 Thanks for the comment. The negative battery terminal can be a pain depending on the tools available. For the easiest access remove the bolt under the seat that holds the left side cover. Then pull down on the side cover to remove it. The negative terminal is right there. Thanks again for the comment and thanks for watching.

    I just dealt with the rear turn signals installing GIVI pannier racks. Those connectors were pretty unnerving and time consuming for me. I had to be very careful getting a feel for how much poking and prying would get them disconnected and still in reasonable shape. Had to poke a tiny flathead over the clip. No big deal I imagine, if you've dealt with that type before. Oh, and nice job with the bike detailing. Looks awesome!

      @Gary Ives I did the same thing. I used a tiny screwdriver to pry up slightly then pushed down. Those things are definitely tricky. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

    I am having trouble disengaging the turn signals from their connectors. Any tips on how to do it? I have tried pulling the connector carefully but no luck.

      @Tejas Parab Yes, you're actually in luck. I just posted a video czcams.com/video/qydH2jDGZdQ/video.html today. If you fast forward to 1min 10 sec. I show you how to get the turn signal connectors apart. Hope this helps. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

    hello there, did you noticed any improvement in wind buffering with the flyscreen or is it just ahestetics? Thanks

    • @my-enfield612
      @my-enfield612  Před rokem +3

      @K Switch I honestly couldn't tell you because I installed the fly screen before ever riding the bike. I was waiting to take my basic rider course so I could get my license when the parts came in. It doesn't block much but it looks cool. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

      @@kswitch5870 Today was Royal Enfield ride day and we did 100 k's of back roads. I reckon the screen helped heaps regarding wind fatigue.

      I installed the taller version on mine. Offers minimal wind protection, mainly for aesthetics. I wasn't sold on the look so I went back to using a much taller Givi screen. The RE is now on my TU250x. Looks great but still does zip. 😞
