Aurora is pure art, and I’ve been “obsessed” for 8 years now lol
Aurora said in an interview:
“Her, she didn't want to be in this world anymore, and she knew that this man would do anything for her. She asks him to kill her and he said : 'Ok, I love you, I would do anything for you.' After he killed her, he became sad because she didn't move anymore and he didn't understand where she went. He didn't understand why she left and he start crying. And it is sad, because for the rest of his life, he will not understand and he will be sad."
In another interview, she said:
"First of all, I have a really vivid imagination. You know that these things may be happening to someone right now. It's kind of a terrifying thought. I just had to get that thought out of my head - and that's why I wrote this song. But the two characters are actually just made up in my head. I've written many songs about them - maybe I'll make a book with them."

Aurora has IT !!! The thing that has no word, somebody call it the X factor, I just call it Aurora.
The aurora borealis or northern lights is a magic natural phenomena. You might find an explanation of what it is, but I honestly don't need it; it is magic, beautiful and otherworldly... Exactly the same with Aurora, excpt there is no explanation with her.....
You have SO many magical performances to come!!!! Through the eyes of a child or Lucky from Nidarosdomen (or both) is a great place to start!

Aurora is definitely the Queen, and your observations are spot on. You might also take a look at the Faroese singer Eivor. Something like "Falling Free (Live at the Old Theater in Torshavn)", or for a more unplugged folk approach "Eivør Pálsdóttir: Tròdlabùndin (Trøllabundin) - 10.08.13"

I recommend you check out ‘Through the Eyes of a Child’ live at Nidarosdomen next. It’s one of my favourite Aurora performances.

I would suggest you check out her KEXP concert in Iceland. It’s only about 30 mins but it’s very good and will show you a different side of her. I’ve been following you since you started NF journey and I’m stoked to see you on this one.

Love your reactions and always appreciate your comments. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 For an absolute mind blowing experience with Aurora (there are many) I highly suggest any song she performed at the Nidarosdomen Cathedral Concert in Norway I believe in 2019....simply one of the most spectacular concerts ever recorded, everything about this concert from the Ancient Cathedral acoustics, Aurora's ethereal voice, Her band, the orchestra, the Choir and the beautiful photography is simply stunning.....every single song. Hope you will have a look.

My theory is that she holds the world record for making people fall in love with her through music performances.
Personally, this one - though rarely suggested - is one of my favorite performances because it shows her silly/joyful side, which is actually a significant part of her personality.

Aurora does actually hold the Guinness world record for most people to attend a virtual concert in a game. The game Sky: Children of the Light just recently broke a world record less than a month ago. You can find videos of the concert all over youtube 😁

@@GhostlyEcheveria I played that game a couple of times three years ago when I did not know about Aurora. I wasn't actually playing it I was just flying and walking around. I liked the magical atmosphere of the game. It's really beautifully made IMO. But I stopped playing and then I forgot about the game and years down the line I stumbled across a video that mentioned her collaboration with the game and I immediately thought: "This makes so much sense!" I took a look, and obviously, she is the perfect artist for that event. It feels like they must have had her in mind when they developed it 😄. I wonder if she ever plays it. I know she plays computer games, so maybe 😅.
@@Adrian_Marmy She does play it! She played the game with the developers on a live stream last month after the world record was broken. The players did flash mobs for Aurora in the concert arena. I think the stream is still available in ThatGameCompany's twitch page. I agree she is the perfect artist for the game. The game is really beautiful, and it's only getting better.
