I think it’s funny how the square bill for me took the place of the spinner bait for several years and as of late the spinner bait has bounced back.

finding a bait made to swim with a ‘good action without buying 5 baits ,, mega bass quality is the difference , I have no confidence with hook rash ,when investing in hard baits get the best ,if I have only one that’s ok ,a good bait makes the day ,having the best day that’s special.

Randy must be making more now than he ever had as an angler. Putting out videos like bananas 🍌 in the boat are ok! Haha.

Can you please do a video on temperatures. I fish a pond so it’s not always the same timing as a lake so it would be great to know the actual temperatures and how bass behave according to the temperatures

Just caught a nice one on a 1.5 bluegill yesterday on the last cast of the day. After trying a 2.0 or so with no bites. Do these smaller ones sound and look different from the 2.0 and get fooled?

You got me worked up about the dock video. Grandlake is awful. Cables everywhere to keep you from fishing. Boards nailed from dock to dock so you can’t fish between. It’s absolutely BS

I don't know a whole lot but I try to use exclusively silent where I'm a cuz of the really clear water but most of mine have rattles by default. Lots of trial and error is the only true answer man.

The difficulty with drawing the conclusion that bait ‘x’ used to work well and now not so much is that there are so many variables that determine if you catch a fish that’s it’s impossible to simply single out one cause - the bait. Unless everything (when you fish, exactly where you fish, weather conditions, season, etc, etc, etc ) is exactly the same you have a completely uncontrolled experiment that no reliable conclusion can be made. So many things effect whether a bass strikes a lure that trying to conclude the bass have become accustomed to a bait as the reason and therefore stop biting it is an unsupportable conclusion. Is it a factor? Probably but If this were the over riding reason then things like the plastic worm would have stopped being effective 50 years ago. I believe that when it appears bass stop biting a bait “that used to be really good” there are other factors at work causing this result ...

Ya know, here in Florida the fishing is great! But you do have to find what works for you in our murky, grassy, sooty, warm to hot waters. We have sometime three changes of bites in a day and the next day is different. But I love the challenges and junk fishing!

The fact that the fish are turning off on so much artificial blows away the myth that fish do not learn and have only 15 minute memories. I have cranks that used to catch fish and are full of tooth marks but in the past couple of years, seem to have become useless.

You don't need a $25 squarebill. Trust me. In fact, the cheapest squarebill is the best. They break just as much as $25 lures tho, esp. the bill. The best size is the big ones which is 2 3/4 in or the 3. Not sure bc I just eyeball them. Truth is there is a place and time to use them....and one will excel over the other. The best is found in the swim. That's all you need to know. Whether or not you'll know is up to you.

Did you see video of Jacob he unplugged electronics an went to river HAHAHAHHAHHAHA what a joke that really is to say electronics not a problem.I told him i want to see you out in middle of lake like you fish in tournments an catch them bass he cant do it without electronics
