Wife dragged me to this concert in Dallas, Tx. The acoustic bass player -> shook the ground & the music was incredible. Now I crank them in my truck !!! Great sing-a-long tunes

Until this moment I thought this was some new hipster band that came out sometime after around 2012, when I first heard them. Does anybody know why they suddenly began playing this song on major radio stations several years back? I had honestly never heard of them, were they a lesser known band in their heyday?
They were a very successful “niche” band, like XTC.
The thing that is funny about this I've been to and watched many MLB games in Wrigley field in person on air and watching games on tv against others.. and THey just play this beat.. hah no pun intended.. though it took a bit of a towel to wipe out.
