I'm gobsmacked by the entitlement of the Karen in the first story. The OP definitely should've pressed charges for harassment and assault. The cherry on top is the terrible mom telling her kid to attack and try to kill the cat. That kid is going to grow up to be a violent sociopath just like his mom.

Sadly, it's not just these days. There have always been garbage people. But where, in the past, they would end up being the person in their village that everyone else hates, today, with global media transmitting their assholery across the world, odds are it'll be heard by far more people. These shitheads seem more like they either only exist today or that there are more of them today, when the truth is that when they are terrible today it's a lot less likely to stay local news.

Story 1: I am flabbergasted that human beings like this actually exist, that woman could have maybe had her child sit on her lap and this whole mess could be avoided. Also yes a wheelchair is provided for people who need it, but not for people who are simply tired, also the wheelchair belongs to the OP and no one has the right to say otherwise now thanks to you OP will have to spend more time with the boot and you had to spend more money making sure your and your son got home on time. Oh and OP if you end seeing this I hope life is treating you good and your cat and you are healthy and happy have a great day.

1. Demand the wheelchair of someone who OBVIOUSLY needs it.
2. Call the kitty feral and illegal.
3. Send her hellspawn onto the OP's lap, injuring her ankle more.
4. Sending her hellspawn AGAIN, but now to SIT ON TOP OF the cat in the hopes of SQUISHING HIM! Injuring the OP's ankle EVEN MORE.
Karen was right about that Jesus has a special place for OP, namely far away from the hell Karen will definitely get sent to. She's a terrible person and a worse mother. Her child has my sympathies as it's obvious he doesn't understand that what his mother was telling him to do is wrong.

I have some things to say about the first story, firstly IMO the original poster handled this incredibly calmly. Secondly, for a little bit of context, my mother suffers from multiple sclerosis and requires both a manual and electric wheelchair to get around (depending on the situation) along with carers to come over and help take care of her. If someone asked my mom to get out of her wheelchair so their kid could have somewhere to sit down. I would’ve handled this very differently, let’s just say that there would’ve been a lot of screaming and threats of physical violence. I’m not normally a violent person I just really care for my mom’s health and safety

Posting this on CZcams is such a smart way to get people to agree with you and know that people are on your side. I certainly am. This is one of the first karen's I've seen on these CZcams videos that encourage their kid to be annoying too. I love listening to these stories in the back ground while I do things like reading, drawing, writing my story etc. and love some good karma on others who deserve it. Even better when they are people who are being selfish and entitled for no good reason other than to just be a jerk. I personally think that the only jerks in this case are the people who think they’re so much better than the OP. And then ultimately get their karma.
I just feel horrible for that kid. I really hope he eventually finds an environment where he's raised better than he's raised by this lady he calls a mother. It's disgusting.

Coming here after 7 months, I remember this video kept popping up in my recommendation for 4 days, I finally clicked on it and played Iron sight with my younger siblings on my birthday. Okay, this is really weird. I actually had a dream last night about a Karen trying to steal a wheelchair from a disabled person. The dream wasn't about me, but it still felt like it was my POV, so I'll just say me. I was at a convention doing a show with some friends, and Karen cut the power to our mics and I could see her staring daggers at me and looking smug. I'm sitting in a chair on the stage, but when my friends go to look for my wheelchair after the show is called off, they can't find it. A staff member suspected it might have been her and started keeping an eye on her, when they saw her son playing around in my chair. She claimed it was because I wouldn't let her kid sit in my chair, and that I'd also delivered groceries to her house and didn't put them away for her, so she thought I deserved to have my show ruined, and for my wheelchair to go to her precious kid.
I don't know why I had this dream, maybe because of all the reddit stories I've been listening to lately. I'm not even IN a wheelchair. I do have some deteriorating mobility issues, but it's not bad enough yet that I have to be in a wheelchair all the time.

I was born with a bad hip and leg that requires me to use either a walker or a wheelchair just depending on how much it is bothering me. When I was still in school, there were plenty of people who used to find it absolutely hilarious to steal my walker or wheelchair as they had thrown me just so that they could watch me struggle to get off the ground, while other kids were putting things in my hair. The teachers were far less than understanding about me being in pain that usually meant a daily trip to detention
