The music is amazing in the movie.
It’s an emotional movie that makes grown men cry to this day.

I was blessed to work with the Indiana University Men's Basketball team in the 1990s. The scene where the Milam team visits Butler Fieldhouse before the State Championship game reminds me of the quiet, contemplated way the IU teams visited the gyms of other teams for games. I particularly remember a IU practice in Hartford Connecticut before the NCAA Div. 1 Sweet 16 game against Kansas in 1991.
Thank you for posting this video. It brings back a lot of memories from Indiana and Texas where I now live.
(I just watched the end of your video, and it brought back one more memory. I worked as an athletic trainer for 20 years in Texas at a few different high schools, and the teams I worked with won 6 State Championships, but "Hoosiers" and your video reminds me of our first State Championship at Elkins HS in Missouri City, Texas outside of Houston, in 1995, when we won the State 5A Baseball Championship at UT field in Austin.)
The excitement and sense of accomplishment was exactly like the movie portrayed it. God I love this movie.

Fantastic film; still one of my fav's. You had a typo in between your segments. Seems Like they are good buds, but Angelo interrupted David once or twice--particularly near the end.

There are some things in Hoosiers that don't make sense. Perhaps the most ridiculous is when Myra Fleener talks about what she missed when she was away from Hickory "You know, during all those years away,
there are a few things I missed, not being here. I missed knowin' nothing changes, people
never change. It makes you feel real solid.
I also missed knowing that people's private affairs stay pretty much their own." Anyone who knows anything about small towns know that everybody pries into everybody else's business. She even proves my point by going to Deerlick to find the newspaper article about Norman Dale's suspension from coaching basketball.

Glen--I don't know that I agree. Some private people are very private with internal family matters. Depends. Doesn't mean they aren't nosing into other's busn. There is a difference between seeking out info & disclosure. I actually liked those lines !

I agree with both views of this. I just attended my 35 yr class reunion, graduation class was large in 1986, approx 70 students. As much as news does travel fast there are plenty of things, good and bad that go on behind closed doors..... and stay there

Too bad the IHSAA killed the one class system of basketball. We use to fill out the 64 sectional winners and look up the teams and watch what they did at our regional, then semi state and the state. Now the only people interested in the teams are the ones still in the running. Ya, only their school cares, some. Check how many even go to the sectionals or the state finals. 8 teams with 4 winners should bring in a lot of fans, but it dose not.
