  • As I’ve been waiting for “overnight parts from Japan” I lost my patience.
JSP Fab has been producing quality parts for the AE86 community for some time now. In this video I’m installing front tow hook/jack points and cup holder.
I’m a big fan of anything that makes it easier to work on your car, so the front tow hook/jack points are awesome for that very issue. The cup holder is probably the best option for AE86 owners. I do have an OEM unit on my other AE86 but this just works way better.

the first thing i'd on my 86 before was all bushes, screw, fuel pump, fuel tank including clean it. then i move to break system. all replaced. then start on engine and transmission. after i did all i start dry ice underneath d 86. and apply new anti rusty coating. after all done i start om bodywork. get rid all rusty shit. last but not least goodies and some cosmetic for the car.

Hey Rick new subscriber here. Beautiful hatch, can't believe it has over 500k miles on the chassis. How much room does that cup holder take up by the passenger legs if any? If I may make a suggestion, I know you live in Cali and rust isn't a big issue, but I would put some anti seize on the bolts that mount those jack point brackets. That area gets hit with a lot of water from rain or washing the car. Just a suggestion. Keep up the great work with your vids!

Hey bro! Thanks so much for subbing. Great advice, afterwards I went back and put some anti seize when I got back to the shop, I didn't have any at home. The cupholder does take up a little room, but the benefits outweigh the negatives, it really is the most solid cupholder available for these cars.

run your zipties through the back so they look cleaner. and your rag won’t snag when you wash it.

good idea! I do it this way because it's easier and convenient to cut off the extra. But I will try this for sure! Thanks!
