- Littletown is a Cities Skylines series in which I share what I am building with the rest of the community. The town itself will take the shape of a high-wealth, small coastal town that has a thriving tourism industry. We will build awesome homes for our residents, awesome resorts for our visitors, and we will make the town look as aesthetically pleasing as possible. Join me on the journey of turning Littletown into this thriving tourism community.
In this episode:
We build lay down the road infrastructure to connect the main Littletown peninsula to the major islands. We will also take advantage of this new road network to build some neighbourhoods.

Sigh.
No matter how many hours I have on CS, my roads always look like a 3 year old designed it.
Nice work, as always!!
You could watch some tutorials on Road hierarchy, or maybe look at some actual maps to try to understand what's happening. Keep at it, it's a great game for learning these kinds of things and when you get it, it's pretty satisfying. Sanctum Gamer is also using quite a few mods and is obviously skilled at design.
@@pfistor Yeah, I definitely understand road hierarchy. I also watch a lot of videos and get inspo from Google Earth, but my actual building of the roads is my downfall. Even with all the useful mods...still looks like a blind child drew them. 😂🤷
if you make blocks you're fine.
@@Meeesa keep trying, i'm not a town planner , i've played the game for about 2 years now, when i started my city looks like 3yo designed it. Now, it looks like 5yo designed it! :D
Yo guys is CS any good on PS4?
It's such a pleasure to watch a cities skylines building video, without the camera jerking your eyes around violently the whole time. Great work! This seriously elevates this video above 90% of stuff out there!
Finally your city has 100 thousand citizen! Congratulations!
No i
When I'm working on building my city, i feel like it's the best out there.
And then I watch your gameplay...
i love the way you play with those camera angles..How is it possible you make an entire intersection without moving the cam
that"s just Genius!
Behind this videos are hours of editing. AWESOME!!
Congrats on 100k population!
Amazing building skills! 😀👍
I love the way you always finish with a tantalising view of what is to come next. It is clearly all very well planned out.
Congrats on 100k!
great to wake up and listen to that music once again.... lots built, fun episode cheers, looking forward to seeing the expanse to the islands
RCI is maxed out,there are 100k+ cims,and Littletown is showing a profit ! Excellent work...as usual !
I really enjoyed this episode, thanks. you have a good amount of population and income too, well done!
Amazing work! Really good sped-up / jumpcut footage too!
I love how much progress you manage to make each episode
Yes finally!! Great start for the next chapter Sancum! Keep it up!
Excellent! Also, 100,000 people! This is turning out to be a region... I love it!
love it
This guy seriously is THE business
I don’t understand how he does it, and does he move the camera at all? How does he do it??
great job, I love the attention for details ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏻
so beautiful, I find watching these videos hypnotic, it's like watching a painting being done.
[Insert a comment about a guy who is excited because there's a new Littletown video]
Hey,😡
yeah look who is talking! still thinking destroying other kids sandcastles makes him a hero 🙈
@@honolulu4ever I'm not criticizing the video
well, it sounds like you're making fun of it
Eryk Hagen how the heck does it sound like it
Hey man just found your channel, this looks awesome, you gained a subscriber
Wow so many beautiful details! Incredible
Amazing. Absolute mastery at work.
great and beautiful work!
one of my fave route cities skylines projects keep cup the good work!
watching this city is so relaxing, awesome job 👍👍
Awesome video man!
I really got surprised, because the main peninsula has still plenty of room to give! And meanwhile Littletown hit definitely the 100,000 family units, which means, could have around 300,000 souls now!
Editing on this is just awesome
Stumbled onto this vid and idk why but it was relaxing af.. Nice music
Littletown. I'm loving it!!! 👌🏻😎
This is so relaxing to watch
Thanks for the great video!
Your videos always appear as a suggestion and I never saw them, until today I am very interested, thank you for sharing this type of videos, I only saw one and I learned more things to add to my series, you have one more Subscriber, today I will start to see in the video number 1 of this series, a greeting from Mexico!
Thank you for the nice words. I hope what you see on my videos can benefit you as well. It's always nice to learn from one another. Good luck :)
Yay! More Littletown!
a w e s o m e w o r k
13:37 - i've never seen more beautiful intersection in my whole life
Very good, you are an artist
Big fan of your work
Pine trees in the ocean, LETS GOOOOO 😆
But seriously though, this much attention to detail is INSANE
great
that was very soothing and relaxing to watch
Ainda bem que voutou a série eu adoro esses seu vídeos Parabéns
You are amazing, bro. I wish I had your creativity xD
Surreal, a city of fantasy and realistic POV
really enjoy your style
This is Incredible.
why don't you give those poor people at 15 mins in a sound barrier so they don't have to listen to trains all the time
The tress will block most of the sound, but I agree with you.
Oscar MB plus house walls do pretty well also
@@blanco7726 from my own experience I can tell you it doesn't completely block out the sound
Richard Bučko no of course not, but sound barriers don’t completely block it put either. In the end people get used to trains passing all the time anyways. You could live on the train tracks and you’d get used to the sound.
@@blanco7726 Not cims. They get sick and even die.
I love that interchange I wish you would put it on the workshop....
Your PC must be an absolute monster rig. I get 275 asserts max. Looks so good wish I could do that
piece of art
I just bought this game! I’m really excited to play it! Just trying to learn something from your vids!
Awesome! Hope the vids help.
Welcome back, another great build. One selfish gripe - did not enjoy the music in this episode. Keep up the awesome work.
me too
This is like art
Me: Oh a video that will just be about road system
Sanctum Gamer: Let's put fancy neighborhood along the way
Me: Damn that man mad skill !!!
Amazing
This is art
Can't wait to see what are you going to do with that island..
when I watch your contents, I dont wanna play this game anymore. Why I do? You create perfect and I never can reach that level.. keep doing :) (ps:
I'm getting tired of downloading that much mode :P)
Watching this video makes me feel like I am playing another cities skylines game!!! Where did you find all these assets you used and the way how you put it sounds too easy but it is not. Awesome job !
Look like a more wonderful version of hawaii with the american houses, roads, pitstops, and malls alongside that tropical foilage and geography.
cuk tenan, apik e rek
Why do you only have 24k followers? You're the best builder I have seen so far..
Hahaha, thanks for the kind words :)
@@SanctumGamer no problem. You have my subscription bro! Keep on building. Just make sure the traffic is driving on the right side of the road lol
I am pretty new to your serie and channel. But I am stuck and love your work! Is it possible if you can add some zoomed out image so that I have an easier time locializing where on the map you are building?
Why every awesome city builder is from country where traffic is on left?! 😂
You making a brilliant videos, thank you for all your work for this channel. 👍
Do you know if Littletown is in Australia or the UK? I personally think it looks Aussie but your right, every amazing creator is from one of those countries😅
I have been playing Sim city for 5 years. But jesus.... this game is far better than Sim city... I can not believe how much stuff is in this game. I am buying this game right now!!!... And i am dead in my social life for eternity.
How you do that the "dirt" in elevations is rock style and not just mud?
Can you tell your climate and color setup?
that intersection looks very realistic. how are you so good at these?
Bro. I like your videos and ideas about the that constructions. Please make project of cities. I've seen Japanese project on others some other famous countries. Make please Project Tashkent))))
Is it just the map theme and color correction that makes it look this way? Probably at least a couple more mods or something I guess? Looks really nice and realistic.
Pretty impressive progressive building skills.
ohh yes a new video
Hi,
Great vids. Thanks very much. What PC set-up are you using for this?
Mine is starting slow down already and I have nowhere near the same amount of assets or city sizes.
Read the fucking channel info
this video depressed me a lot. seeing what can be done and what I do. You have to have a lot of imagination and talent.
They want an amazing Campus!
That looks awesome, but do you know you can delete the trees with the brush press right click ;) left click you set the trees, right click delete. ;)
I got 1000 mods. Still no idea when to use it or how to find right one. Lol. But still trying. Great work.
parking sign at 17:39, is it a part from Network Connection 2? thanks
Hey. A couple of questions. What are the settings in the game? And how to achieve such a picture?
reminds me of Downtown San Francisco - Golden Gate Park - Golden Gate Bridge intersection
Your a God
hey first time in your channel and awesome work :D just a quick question, why do you clear up the trees before building the hughway if building the roads do it anyway? a specific reason for that?
The roads don't delete the trees, they just hide them, using unnecessary resources. For the size city I'm building, I need every nanosecond of CPU I can get!
Which grafic card do you use? And how many ram you running .
you can use that move it mod to select and drag and delete multiple swathe of trees. i use to delete trees one at a time. not anymore!
Extremely nice building but how did you manage to make it look so realistic and not make the game crash with al those mods and assets??
This P C is on fiiiirreeeeee
Finally.
what house theme are you using?
Лайк не глядя!
wowww
Out of curiosity: How do you achieve this video style? Do you save the camera position when working on an area, move the camera around to take a look but jump back to the original angle when placing stuff? Or do you not move it at all? Are the camera transitions preplanned before the video, or do you pick a new camera angle after you finished a „take“? How much footage do you cut to only show us the parts where you make progress? Or do you have it planned out so you dont really redo things often? Do you worry about continuity when redoing an area?
Still: great video, I think you will find a lot of viewers with your style!
I think this type of video would also work great with post-commentary like Fluxtrance does for example. In fact, it may even work better, because the shot actually stays long enough to see what the commentary was talking about. Just a thought.
I do a lot of pre-planning before an episode, and for the most part, camera positions are pre-planned. However, I do introduce new ones here and there when I feel I need to get closer to the action (mostly when doing finer detail work). But to answer your question, I do move the camera to inspect work done, and return back to the same position to continue the build. The moving around, menu scrolling, etc, I cut out in editing, all so that the final video flows smoothly. Take a look at the video description to see the amount of time I actually spend on each video.
You know what would nice? a race track in Littletown.
your highway looks more complex than my whole city my god
What happened to the highway to the islands? By the way, congrats for 100k population!
Just me wondering how the boats are going to get out of the docks
7:54 CELEBRATING 100k population
I recently started watching your videos. I looked up your specs and I wonder how is it possible to run such city with so many assets and mods with decent performance? Is it because of increased pagefile size? Overclocking? I have very similar rig, yet it runs like crap with 1000 assets :(
I don't have good performance, it looks good because the footage is sped up during editing.
What is the flat land island for build a big theme park resort
I was here from the start, just say!
What is your pc setup? I would be glad if you can share 😌
What specs does your PC have? Because I maybe want to try out this map with colour corrections etc., but I'm not sure if it will work with my PC config.
What version of CS is this?? Very realistic, mine is not like this, I don't know if it's a mod or version...
I used to think the same way a year ago why mine looks like sh*t comparing to videos on youtube...First download custom maps, themes and LUTS(color correction) then Dynamic Resolution for the graphics..yes also Daylight Classic Mod...Now time for the never ending download of custom assets like trees, buildings and roads..You don't need a monster computer as someone would assume...you'll need a good CPU, mid-range GPU and at least 32 GB of RAM..16GB would also do but you'd have to crank up the page file of your SSD to compensate for the lack of RAM..After all these, u'd have to learn to live with 10 to 20fs and forget the 2x speed simulation...Speed Slider V2 is a must to tackle those dropped fps..
