- Christmas with Conniff is a twelve-track album in which Ray Conniff keeps it mostly secular. The lone exception is the inclusion of "Greensleeves," also one of the few ballads on this album. I am now 52 years 1979 year I've heard this Christmas songs when my brother bought stereo phono, the first time I've heard this Christmas songs it gives our Family more alive talking sharing how we Love this songs. These songs bring back so many memories when I was growing up. It brings back times of a simpler time. There was love, hope and faith in the holidays and especially family gatherings where these songs were sung everywhere. This music brings back so many memories that will live in my heart forever. I agree with these comments. My first job, at 16 yo, was in Woolworth’s. This was the music they played. Really set the mood for pleasant times. I’m now 89 & love it all. Memories come rushing back. ❤y

Agree! Remember when all of Dec was Christmas music and it made you happy for the whole month? It was like magic back in the day. Makes me feel soooo sorry for today's people, everything they have revolves around misery.
This continues to be my favorite Christmas album...I'm 71...my mom and dad would sing the harmonies as we decorated cookies and the tree.....Christmas Bride always brings a tear, as this was their favorite song.

I'm 76years old and hayyyyy i still love to hear this Christmas songs.
My teachers in elementary school (1962-66) played Ray Conniff's Christmas albums on those turntables that schools had; the one in a snap suitcase and the top was taken off and the speaker was built into it. Anyone remember those? These songs are played in my house every Christmas and 'on the road' when driving somewhere for Christmas. They are timeless, and never cease to take me back to elementary school and that time of year when we made wreaths out of IBM computer cards and spray painted them and decorated them with glitter. Great memories...a season driven out of schools by atheists and godless people.

As everyone here says...THIS was my growing up Christmas music every year from being little in the late sixties. It is beautiful, natural sounding and melodic…not some jazzed up, sassy, finger snapping arrangement. Truly evokes the magic. TY.

Our family used to sing together with the Ray Conniff Singers years back when they were young and used to live with us. How nice to think back of those very good old days. Now my husband have a empty nest.

For me, the Christmas season only starts once I play one of the Ray Conniff Christmas songs albums. For an additional nostalgic boost, I mostly play the older ones. I was 14 when this album was published.

Those songs remind me when my dad and brother would cut the tree on the hill mom baking in dirt oven my sister's polishing the wooden floor, painting, my bro, and I sewing with my grandmother machine all curtains, singing, dancing my mom dad hide our gifts until on the eve of Christmas place those under the tree, those were days we believe in Santa Clause not now with those kids I'm 69 yrs but I play them as long I'm alive and always enjoy them lovely memories 🇾🇪♥️

Reminiscent of good old days.. when i was little, one December night when my father arrived home from a year long tour of duty abroad as merchant marine. Along with his luggage was a huge box containing Sansui components unit. The next morning he assembled the component music radio, together with my siblings and parents, i was so happy to hear the “The Ray Conniff Chrismas Songs”. Today i already have a grandson and grown-up daughters-professionals in their own fields, still listen to that music album with my loving wife.

This is for me one of the best Christmas albums that Ray Conniff has ever released. I like to play it at home every Christmas and I really enjoy listening to it for hours due to the lyrics and the rythm of each song.

I've been searching for this online because my brother now has both mine and my late mother's original albums , but I no longer have a record player and only a smartphone to save it on under christmas music so that I can listen to it again. I was 9 years old it first came out, and my favorite song on the album is Christmas Bride. My oldest sister though is the one who got that wish the next year, and then I too finally got my wish in 1972. So we BOTH ended up becoming a Christmas Bride.

This Christmas album has been a staple in our family. My parents used to have the album and we listened to it constantly every year in the seventies. Probably late sixties as I was born in 62. As an adult, prior to the computer age I bought two CDs of this so as not to lose my original, that's how serious this album is to me. And then I copied it to my hard drive, made a copy of the original CD to listen in my car. It's really nice to see that it has made its way to CZcams. Merry Christmas, Everyone!

Staple in my home growing up too. Very special to me💗 I had a friend find all the songs and download them onto a CD for me. Made copies for my brothers and mother as well. Still have the CD and play it every single year. My friend had never heard Christmas Bride! Shock & horror! I've always known it as we had this album since I was young. Born in 67!💗

I was born in 1970 and this was played several times at Christmas. I layed under the tree with the Sears Wishbook while this was on. Also the Little Drummer Boy and Frosty The Snowman albums.
