This is so slick. I keep going back and looking at it from time to time lol. The physicality of toggling switches for various things is just so cool to me. I had been considering going for VKB stuff, but the Virpil panels alone are just on another level. You mentioned that it's useful for mining - how do you have this setup actually? I see Panel #1 has analogue axis dials, which would be handy for mining laser power. Also, does Star Citizen allow you to have bindings on both the sticks and panels for the same functions, or do you have to choose one or the other?
@@JohnathanWinters Nice. What else did you program to the panel? Still using the monstertech mounts? I didn't see anything on their site about a mounting solution for the control panel, but it was my first attempt to look around there.
@@WoodyKu Random shit for SC nothing crazy, power toggles, zoom, etc. And yep just monster tech, I did just make a custom rail you can find that in the discord under media.
@@WoodyKu Monstertech has a Virpil control panel mount. It is on their site but not apparent to find. You have to dig around a bit. Look for a VPC Control panel mount. That will be the attachment point for their rail systems for the panel. There is a center and side mount variant. $47 USD.
Very smooth landing 👌
That was sweet.

Any chance you have a discord server? I have a complement of virpil panels that I’d love some input on related to bindings.
Can you explain why you pressed 3 buttons to start the ship? Because you only need flight ready Button!?
Coolness factor, shield, weapons, engine
Hi!! Do you use cosmosim cams with or without center?? Or perhaps other cam? Thk!!
Have you refined your settings to CP#2 since posting this? I just got one today and am debating what to program where besides the gear.
I've since moved my landing gear back on my stick and use the lever to open and close doors.

care to share your control panel mapping? I just got a CP1 yesterday and am working on what its config should be
are you using pedals for forward/reverse movement?
Yes
how do you set the landing gear camera
Gotta use the ingame camera controls to manually put it there. Look up, starcitizen advanced camera controls, if you don't know about it.
HOW the hell did you get the landing gear working???
I would also like to know that :) I keep struggling with it for months
I bound it in gremlin where going either up or down hits "N."
@@JohnathanWinters video ?? Lol
@@manuelszczygielski565 Gonna take me some time, lot of videos planned atm. That said lot of tutorials already on how to use Joystick Gremlin.
You can use gremlin, but you can also use the Virpil software and set them into toggle mode.
