My subscribers haven't increased much for quite a few years too. I think I'm too boring for the mainstream, low-attention span crowd. They want to be shown things they are comfortable with, such as Beatles or Stones LPs, or for the most adventurous it may be a little MOR jazz like Kind of Blue or Time Out. That is part of the equation. What you stated here may be true too, as I refuse to monetise and have no inclination in 'playing the game' whatsoever. It's no longer grass roots, this VC business, and I don't identify with being part of the VC anyway. Now it's all about endless live streams where you see the same 3 or 4 characters and the aim is clear: making revenue out of it. Selling their wares in any possible way. I'm like you, I just want to share a passion and get meaning interactions out of it.
The money came and the sincerity largely left across the platform, for sure. VC as a term or distinction definitely shifted as well, I don't really know where the 'VC' is anymore. Very scattered. But, grateful to know where you are and where to enjoy your Revolutions, Fred! Cheers
Thanks for doing a response. Very interesting and thought provoking answers. I wasn't aware of your channel (now subbed). Cheers - Richard
Thank you Richard, same!
I'd love to see a room tour, also would be interested in the Windam Hill collection.
I don’t spend a lot of time on CZcams, and don’t even know what CZcams shorts are haha, but it doesn’t sound like anything I’d be interested in.
Hi, would love a room tour and a follow up to the clamp, as I'm a gear head! Artist highlight is also a good one. More jazz and classical please.
