I actually have always loved revoltech! Articulation is key for a figure in my opinion! Now Now they've improved and look great, that's the icing on the cake
I think a lot of people are discouraged from liking revoltech due to how odd some of the articulation is. I'll admit the simplicity of marvel legends is desirable but the technical ability of revoltech figures is just unmatched, they can do everything a figuarts or mafex can do but way more dynamically, and the odd choices like the shoulder joint placement and the ball joints in the shins and forearms allow it to hit the crazy unrealistic comic poses
The plastic part of the hood looks a lot better than it did in conventions. It looked *a lot* more yellow when they first showed it off, more than they probably intended. I don't mind the "screw holes" on him, I think it helps to break up the white. For the armoured Moon Knight look, if he's not gonna have a black undersuit, it's a nice way to mix up the design.
I wanted Agent Venom to be my first Amazing Yamaguchi figure, but you've convinced me, Dave! Gonna grab this guy to keep my Khonshu BAF company!
Yea im really glad they fixed that yellow color
Man, I've really missed your toy reviews this year! 2024 New Year's Resolution: More DMB figure reviews!!! 🙏🏻
This is figures of the year for me 10/10
So beautiful, my favourite marvel character and my favourite line. This is a chef’s kiss
Didn't expect that upbeat tune in the opener. Nice burst of joy lol the way toy reviews should be
he looks amazing
This makes me even more excited for the agent venom figure
Great seeing more moon knight, such a great character and design!
the back ground music give me that 90's feel frankie J feat baby bash....
That armor design isn’t fully an Amazing Yamaguchi original. It's heavily based the armor Moon Knight wore during the original Vengeance Of The Moon Knight run from 2009. It's not a one to one adaptation but that's definitely the costume Yamaguchi was looking at when they designed this figure.
Absolutely psyched to hear that it's so good. I have a whole Moon Knight shrine in my apartment and I love my AY Cable so I pre-ordered this baby as soon as I could.
This figure adapts vengeance of the moon knight suit from marvel now!. They use 2010-2015 era of designs for their comic book figures. Dc figures are also from new 52 era.
So glad you pointed out the hole issue. This happened with my very first Revoltech, Vader, nearly a decade ago. I ended pushing hard and the ball peg broke. With Moon Knight, I can't get mine in at all, and once the peg started bending I decided to give up to avoid it breaking. Also, I can't get the baton clips in the holes at the back. The holes on my figure are much too small.
yeah they’ve improved but still work to do
Congrats on being the first reviewer. I instantly ordered it after watching your video.
If you haven’t put the cape things in yet, you can use a plastic bag with a bit of hot water in and press it up to the plastic to heat it up 👍
Hmmm I might have to give that a try!
Very nice and love your channel mate 👍
SO SO tempted after seeing this, especially since the Moon Knight on my shelf is a floppy-waist used 2017 wave one because I was too impatient for the reissue. 🙃 The Revoltechs I always had my eye on, however, were Cable and Venom. The latter can give a middle-finger salute like the old Toybiz one!
Hey man, this is the first video I’ve watched of yours and just want to say I appreciate all of the details you give along with just showing simple movements of the joints for the figure. You earned a new subscriber 👍 keep up the great work
Hey thank you so much brother. Welcome to the channel!
My hands might be too sticky for this all white cape
Preordered the arkham batman figure coming in october and itll be my first revoltech, I hate buying things when I dont have reviews to go off of, but if its half as good as this figure, I'll be pretty happy
lol, it was great hearing that music in the beginning with the figure, it just felt so good, the whole thing, I hope you'll be able to utilize music like that more!
I love the artistic design style Amazing yamaguchi gives their figures they really have improved and it just looks AMAZING
I have really gotten into yamaguchi on the last year. They are starting to be way better than the earlier figures they were making. I live that the capes are cloth now. Really looking forward to the new Batman and Thor Yamaguchi Revoltech figs. The last harley quinn and Joker Yamaguchis look great together.
Thank you for the review! Might get this as my personal holiday gift ^ ^
Fantastic review. I’m happy to hear that the knees are much better on this figure. I too have a loose left knee on my Black Panther, which is a shame, considering how amazing it is. If they make a Moon Knight with the black outfit and white armor, I would 100% buy it!
Actually there's a purple tint on the armor pieces on my piece of this Moon Knight which makes it 10 times more good looking and interesting figure to have!!!
My elderly eyes probably missed that!
1:51 he looks “AMAZING Yamguchi” 😂
I love the capes .
I just imagine how cool so many of the Marvel Legends could be .
Take the latest Emma Frost . You put a cloth cape on her and it would be like having a completely different figure .
So many times the hard Legends capes hinder the great articulation .
If only Hasbro would use soft goods .
Take the Legends Moon Knight .
If soft goods on the capes the figure is much better .
The Moon Knight figure is very flexible .
Yet the hard rubberized cape hinders how you can pose them .
Great opening song!
You know me Dave I collect DC but Moon Knight is my boy I'm all over this lol😊
We need a Batman Beyond figure!!
Brilliant start 😂
bro, I feel better that you had the issue too. I was losing my mind. I tried boiling it up softening the plastic those little pegs just won’t go in. I almost snapped one off by pushing it too hard I just gave up.
Good review David but this is not an AY design. It’s The Carbonadium armor worn by his Jake Lockely identity in 2009’s Vengeance of the Moon Knight. It’s Heroic Age MK.
I wish Revoltech AY will do Daredevil for long time.
💥B💥O💥N💥K💥E💥R💥S💥 nuff said!
That cape is beautiful. Revoltech joints are much better now, and works better for armor characters. So, this is probably perfect for them.
Amazing pick up bro!!!
Hi Henry Cavill, thanks for your review, it is so nice knowing I share the same hobby with superman!!!
Lol thank you for the flattering comparison!
@DisplayingModelBehaviour You really look like him! I've just discovered your channel and I really love it by the way 🤜🏾 🤛🏻
Merry Christmas from Italy ❤️
Never been into Moon Knight, and my knowledge of the character is limited to cameos he would make in animated shows or comics. But this figure looks incredible. Thank goodness I can't just pop into a store and find one on the shelf because it would be an immediate purchase even though I have literally no where to put it 😅.
Anyone got an ETA for those Flash figures? I don't even see them for pre-order in the UK yet
They should be hitting early in the new year
I am so into amazing yamaguchi line lately but i can't choose which one i get first (moon knight, spiderman 2.0, captain america, deadpool and Bakugou) . I can only afford one of those for now.
I’d go with Moon Knight!
Definitely a interesting one 👌 🤔 👍
Your review made me cancel my mafex xforce deadpool i had ordered yesterday ordered marc today from plaza japan cant wait
Revoltech always had this unique and their style. And some figures are holding up good till this day IMO like venom, wolverine, carnage. And they definety Improved like new spider-man 2.0, deadpool 2.0 and black panther these look badass.
What is unfortunate in case of moon knight, white cape and hood and greyish and silver darker armor really does not look good to me. I really don't like those kind of color mismatches. If his armor was brighter it would be good and some darker parts like on the knees boots etc. But when I look at him now to me he looks like unfinished figure.
More power to you if you like him. I'm gonna try hunt the new retro from ML 😛
My only gripe is the ugly knees when bending the legs
Ayo, has Mr Scruff ever come for you?
great review but i dont like the armor look ... looks like a mix between batman and moonknight
ill get the cape and put'it with the mezco
Great review Dave, and an awesome looking figure.
That opening……may have just been the most epic opener you’ve done lol
These figures have always had so many flaws. The plastic capes were a mess, but the cloth cape for this one seems cheap and like his grandma made it for him.
I honestly don’t see how it’s any different from most other capes
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour Check out the cape they made for the upcoming Arkham Batman and you’ll see the difference. The costume for the MN figure looks too modern next to the bulky, quilt-like cape. I think it’s the seam along the edges that makes it that way. Just my opinion.
I never liked & heard bad things about this line But this one actually looks Amazing an I like Moon Knight!!
Wow... Dave is making me spend my money... again...
Model Behavior can you help me? I don't know who should i get, thor or agent venom or even reverse flash?
It’s a cool figure, but I much prefer the classic “spandex” design over this modern armored look
i think he looks better without those white things
Dave you've aged..
Time passing will do that
Bro doesnt understand the concept of time and aging
Moon Knight doesn't wear armor.
😮💨
Superheroes don’t actually exist 😂
Moon Knight has at least two distinct armors he’s worn on many occasions.
Me when im wrong
In pretty sure he’s worn multiple armored costumes over the years
