I _love_ when import companies do ball jointed hair! Whenever SHF do it, it always elevates a figure. Long hair ruining head articulation 90% of the time with Legends is a big reason I'm slowly weening myself off them. Same with the heavy plastic capes.

Is a shame he is this short, the descrition of the pre order said he was 18 cm tall, but he is like 16 almost 17 cm. :/

6.5 inches from foot to top of helmet dome (not wings) with his feet closer together and standing up straight. I'd say that is pretty much spot on to true 1/12 scale since he is 6'6" in comics as of late.

I think you just convinced me to buy my first revoltech 😅 I've been looking for a good Thor for such a long time and this may be it! Plus I'm a big anime fan (my main collection is shf dragon ball) so I really love the way he looks

Other then the odd gaps by the sides of the chest and the chest being tiny, it looks awesome.
I wouldn’t say he’s tiny but could definitely be bigger

@@DisplayingModelBehaviour yeah them and mezco have been hated on for a while but it looks like they finally overtaked most companies tbh i remember people hated mezcos and revoltechs in like 2016 - 2017
Well said they still get some hate but damn they are fun to play n pose with and the accessories are good I’ve seen people still hate on them tho
Hey Dave, love your review. But by any chance would you be willing in dipping your toes into the sentinel fighting armor line? It's basically like a what if line where every marvel character gets an iron man suit. I only got two, but from my personal experience, the figures are amazing ( Yamaguchi * wink, wink, nudge, nudge *). And since you said you like a little bit of different toy lines in your collection, I think the fighting armor iron man or war machine would go great in your collection. Other than that, love you and your channel, Keep up the great work.

He should be big and tall, not Hulk big, but bigger than Captain America and Ironman.
Marvel Now Thor is my favorite costume design and I really wish Legends would make one. They kinda did a half repaint attempt with the Odin baf. I love Revoltech, but this might be a little too bulky for my tastes. I do agree on the height too. That design is a lot more reasonable and realistic proportions than the big 00s barrel chested one. It's a little surprising because they got the height on Cable so right.

I wanted to like this figure, but the proportions are so ridiculous that I can’t. The funny thing is I don’t even think the arms are the worst part. The torso is strangely long and thin especially when compared to the rest of the figure. Look at this figure dead on in a standing pose and you’ll see what I mean.

If memory serves me right, Thor was this bulky and had a tan in the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon, so that’s pretty cool how this figure (unintentionally) resembles that version of him. Either way, this is a really awesome Thor that puts the Mafex Thor to shame. Maybe that’s a big exaggeration, but I just find that this Amazing Yamaguchi one looks much more impressive. ^^

I like it. But, im not gonna buy it. I already have a really nice marvel legends version of Thor. I usually only buy figures of people that I don't already have. Unless I'm trying to replace them.
