Mike Garson is a pretty special pianist.
Nobody can imitate Bowie's personal way of singing, which gave his songs their magic, this is a great version, but something is missing.

I was always a Bowie fan from the Spiders days. It beeen recently Ive discovered the most brilliant thing he ever did was keep Mike Garson around. Guy is brilliant!

I believe Rick Wakeman is reponsible for the original Life on Mars piano and much as I love Mike Garson's playing, nothing replaces the original.
Probably not the best song for Luke Spiller, he can’t hit those high notes. Mike Garson magnificent on piano as always.
