    Lee Marvin at his coolest. Discovered this film pretty late in the game but it quickly became one of my favorites.

      @@rosiebaccala9222 I've never seen it, but I've looked it up and it's a rather famous film. It was made a few years before I was born but I do enjoy watching many older films - especially given what junk is being produced today.
      It used to be a bit of an art form. Some great classics among a lot of junk. Today, it just seems to be all junk.

      @@rosiebaccala9222 Yeah, just to see if Ronald Reagan was actually a decent actor or not.
      He was, but I knew that - in his speeches in the 1980s, he did speech after speech on the campaign trail and would "tear up" at the same places, over and over again.
      I didn't much appreciate him as a president at the time, but he grew on me. He was a big phony, but not as bad as George H. Bush, William Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, or Joe Biden.
      Still haven't decided about Trump. At least he didn't start a new war, last time there was a president that wouldn't start a new war was Jimmy Carter - he was in office from 1976-1980.

    A brilliant scene. A pity it cuts off just at the point were we see the intercut between her Walker and Reese. Johnny Mandel's score is brilliant too.

    Just standing as cold and dead as a statue taking it while he lets her wear herself out and then settling down to watch some TV, Classic, Marvin's character 'Walker' is different from Donald Westlake's character Parker but I still love both 'The Hunter' and 'Point Blank', Even though Boorman took some liberties with Donald Westlake's original novel 'The Hunter'.

    As much as I love this movie, I find Angie Dickinson's assault on Lee Marvin to be unintentionally funny...it totally reminded me of how my bratty little 12-year-old cousin tried to physically attack me one...I was completely unfazed, haha

      That fight scene between Angie Dickinson and Lee Marvin was crazy as hell she was beating the hell out of him and it didn't do a damn thing they were actually beating the hell out of one another some some kind of psycho erotic animal attraction nuts Violet dirty sick love when they got through they wore each other out I recommend this activity in all boy and girl husband and wife relationships in the future
