She said it perfect. The reason why people can’t be happy in the long term is because they’re fixated on short term happiness and instant gratification. Choosing to delay your short term happiness leads to long term happiness.
Kinda but imo the answer is to pay attention to the type of short term happiness youre getting. A shallow type of happiness like buying tons of shit you dont need, isnt as fulfilling as a deeper type of happiness like saving money for a long term goal. It doesnt have the same rush but it still gives you gratification.

@@tc98826 but that's exactly what he means. It's extremely rare for someone to have both short term happiness as a young adult while also focusing on a long term goal. If youre trying to make money for a long term goal most likely you're grinding long hours, which takes away from short term happiness. And this is the #1 detrimental effect of social media. It has destroyed societies attention span, thus causing kids to only be able to focus on the now. I'm 30...and the only reason I'm sayin this. At 18-24 I thought people in their 30's were old as fuck, when in reality you're just getting started. I prioritized having fun rather than creating a career and regret it now. I promise if you focus on a long term goal/career you will forever be grateful.

You're not exiting the loop by placing 'happiness' as your goal (long or short-term). Chasing happiness is the end goal of a druggie too. It's an emotion that by itself leads to self-destruction.
You wouldn't know what happiness is without unhappiness. You can't have happiness without unhappiness, night without day, good without evil...etc
How about placing our end goals to an objective meaning that brings along with it the ups and downs?

@@d7r_tvthe issue here (in my opinion) is that the focus of Sara’s content is her “gym bro” shit, so we (viewers) don’t really have any idea about how she lives other aspects of her life.. She might actually have some feminine qualities but we wouldn’t necessarily see them because I imagine it’s primarily situational.. I say this because I was a gymnast that trained before and after school so I was pretty serious about it but the way I carry myself is dependent upon the situation/environment so there were occasions when I’d wear makeup and a classy, elegant dress and fulfill my femininity needs with various outfit styles.

Keep up the good work, we fkn love yall fr. I've lost 80 pounds in the last two years, and I've learned so much. I lost my brother in law last summer, that pushed me harder than ever in the gym, I relate heavily to brad on how he overcame his darkness and learned to push through and get through anything. Anything is possible, you just have to work harder, because you are way more capable than you think !

Sara is a girls girl and guys girl. Its refreshing. I work in a male dominated industry. My mom always wanted me to join the army but had other outward interests for work. My brother got me into skateboarding and hockey at a yount age so I grew up in that tomboy mindset got into carpentry, instrumentation and now in the oil & gas industry but looking to settle down into something for the future. I'm 32 now and l understand exactly she feels. Girl take your time, you've got a good head on your shoulders 😊

Sara, you have unrealistic expectations. You can be around certain people, but who cares what other people think. As long as you know who you are. I enjoyed watching you on sneakos and N3on stream.
True but it makes sense if she doesn't wanna be around that type of environment. Because sneako and neon are reflections of their community. They curated it it that way, intentionally or not.
Sneako is a little snake, if you can't sense that vibe then it makes sense why you don't get the reason why she doesn't want to be in that circle. Wow, this is the first Mommy Daddy Talk I have seen, and I didn’t realize how genuine Bradley and Sara are. One of the best and deepest podcasts I have ever seen. Their chemistry as best friends is evident. I still have no idea how they are friends with the red pill community celebrities and Nelk, because I see those people as so detrimental and fake, but I think maybe behind the red pill and Nelk persona there are genuine people there that Sara and Brad have found. What an interesting dynamic! Love this!

Sure reading requires time, but what if instead of scrolling social media for an hour you read something that interests you. It's more about the tools you learn from reading. Attention span is a massive problem today, which is the #1 tool that reading strengthens. Expanding your vocabulary is also extremely important and a big reason why the word "like" is notoriously used in conversation. I'm saying this as a 30 year old who stopped reading after college because I thought it was unnecessary and already notice a drop in intellectual conversation.

For context, lie detector exams measure your heart rate, blood pressure, etc. The polygrapher will look at these levels, mainly heart rate to determine if you are being truthful. They will look at what your heart rate was at rest, then when the question was asked, then when you gave your answer. So if you get nervous when the question is asked, hesitate and then get even more nervous when you give your answer, the assumption is that you are being deceptive.
I think addiction is different from person to person. I vaped for 2 years every day, finished 1 disposable vape a day so u can do the math of how much that cost, someone said I was addicted so I just stopped cold turkey that minute like it’s nothing. I’d get tiny cravings but it’s only when im bored

I love Brad and Sara together so much and there also both awesome separate love them more or less out of charachter talking with eachother
