    Can u do some videos on practical tips on growing mushrooms
    Like some of the most valueable lessons u've learnt from experience
    Maybe some contamination prevention tips , which mushrooms or substrates you recommend to begginers, things u wished u knew when u started growing mushroom, etc
    Anything begginers like me would find helpful😀
    Great vid
    Cheers from india

      Oh no. That's awful. All the habitat destruction that happens these days is unreal. That happened to one of my turkey tail spots. It's a really good idea to learn how to grow mushrooms on their organic substrates. That's what I started doing a now nobody can take my spots. It's a shame you couldn't snag a log or two if they were cutting.

      Also first time ever picking a wild mushroom and actually ate it. I was very positive on the identification, hence there being no look alike. The patch I found was easy 5 too 6 pound specimen. 6 foot log about completely colonized, with fruiting spots all over. Some small fruits some past due and some very beautiful white ones that where perfect for eating. Also gave some of them to an outdoors survival place that’s right down the road from me.

    • @FreshCapMushrooms
      @FreshCapMushrooms  Před 4 lety +1

      it is certainly a fun hobby! In general, no it is not dangerous to handle wild mushrooms even if you don't know what they are. For the poisonous ones (and there are plenty) they are only dangerous if ingested. of course there are other things that you might be worried about (stinging nettle etc. that you could brush up against) but for mushrooms there is no need to worry.
