- In this video I am hoping to help some people out with emulating retro games. It should be pretty easy to get up and running although in general it is very complex. There is a deep rabbit hole you can fall into trying to emulate your favorite consoles. I recommend trying out retrobat first if you are just trying to emulate some easy systems such as nintendo 64, gameboy advanced, SNES, Sega, Playstion 1-3. It's a fantastic way to dive in!

Thank you for watching. I am trying to improve the quality of my videos and editing every time I publish a video. So bare with me on this early journey! Hopefully one day I can be able to edit and have quality like some of your favorite creators. - Věda a technologie
thanks buddy, great video, done this on my Ally, Deck and the LeGo works great
Where to get the roms?
Thank you!!!!
Got all the steps right until the bios and folder part. Where’d you get those files from? Can you maybe post a video on how you found the files or at least what to search for?
Some systems are tough to find but ps2 for example you can just google ps2 bios. I usually just type in download roms and you will find a site that has a bunch of systems and games. Just make sure to unzip all these files
Hey I have a problem with my legion go I try to use gba games on steam with emulation station but nothing and I tried with emulation by itself and still nothing any help
When I open steam ROM manager I only see 2 emulators how can I change that to see all them like you did
Appreciate the video 😂 even tho i got lost af
Damn haha where I lose you?! The BIOS and rom stuff?
@@Neanebk you already know lol
@@deathdecorvid9926 haha I know bro! What systems you trying to emulate?
@@Neanebk the legion go, just don't get how to find the right roms and then moving them to the folders
I meant what retro systems? I realized I should have taken more time on this topic! I knew it was a pain point. If you just google download roms you’ll get a few solid websites. They usually have them broken down by systems. You will need an unzip tool like 7zip. On the roms website find the game you want and download it. Start with a popular game just to get the hang of this. Once it’s downloaded you’ll use your unzip tool and you move that file into those folders I showed. I recommend starting with gameboy, snes, n64, GameCube because you don’t have to worry about anything else besides downloading the rom, unzipping the file, and moving to folder. I hope that helped a little bit more
I'm on the Legion Go, and I get some weird flickering, and the A button on the controllers stop the game instead of jumping.
I have the same issue. Any idea on how to fix this? The flickering is constant and I have no found any fix online yet
I followed all this but then once I got to to the parse in steam download manager it says "user configuration skip was skipped (invalid)" any idea what I did wrong
Hey I just looked into this it appears they have an error in their update. I’m not sure if it’s been updated yet but keep trying. They usually get updates out pretty frequently
Man I’ll pay to have a Skype session or something going over the bio & roms for the rog ally I’ve been trying for WEEKS and can’t seem to get it . I just wanna play OG Xbox 😢
Only the hardest system to emulate 😂 I’ve actually never tried it. Let me see if I can figure it out and Ill reply back
Please thank you , if I could could I pay to schedule for the ps2 roms and bios as well the whole
Concept is confusing to me.
@@terrybill8209bro. If you are struggling go on offer up. People offer the service
@terrybill8209 dude it's extremely easy to be honest. I got a portable SSD Drive and installed Emudeck. After the go to Google and type in best rooms and then extract and drag and drop
The Xbox emulator needs 4 different files to run if I remember right. But if you just type in xemu bios files in Google you should be able to find them all bundled together you just have to unzip and link the paths in the emulator. Usually I'll just put the bios files in the emulator file and path them all there.
What is that ssd you have
I got the San disk extreme 500gb. Caught it on sale for 60 bucks
Which ones runs better ?
The emulators? The performance is similar but I prefer the emudeck
@@Neanebk sorry I meant what handheld runs emulation games better
@@heyitsme2480 ah ok! Again very similar. They both have the same chip so performance will not differ. If you want the bigger screen it looks real good on the legion. If you want more portable and better software experience I’d go rog ally which is also cheaper right now
Rog ally is better , Legion go is little gimmicky
@@parmeetsingh3444🤡
Hi, did not follow that emudeck was now paid software...
It’s only for windows operating system. It is in early access and will be free they are shooting for end of the year.
I'm a beginner on emulations... what should i do if the game is on the list retro bat but is not playable ?
Could be so many things. What retro console and what game you trying to play?
@@NeanebkI'm using retrobat. I was trying to play captain commando an arcade game. It was a pre set game. The thing is that when I try to play it does not work ... i'm a beginner in applying setting things etc but i'm learning. Btw Great content !
That’s so weird because that game isn’t on my device! If you have trouble with any of the systems with some roms you’ve downloaded just leave a comment and I’ll see if I can help
you know legit website for ps3 games?
